Apparently a lot of Auburn fans think his dad orchestrated everything from the beginning because he was sour grapes and a backup to Bo Jackson. They basically tried to make Auburn look as foolish as possible. So for that, I say frick RE.

and lol at the conspiracy that his dad was trying to humiliate Auburn because he didn't start over Bo Jackson. Do you know how ludicrous that sounds?

I don't buy the Bo part but it's pretty hard to review that situation and come away with the sense that it developed organically and without any intent to disrespect Auburn.

We would have kept Ruben Foster if Trooper Taylor wasn’t fired, and then began telling him he needed to go to Bama instead; so it is understandable for him

They had cameras in the AU war room and I thought Dameyune Craig was going to puke when Evans put on a Bama hat in the Auburn HS gymnasium. It was beautiful.

There has never been a more state of Alabama story than that one.

Trevor Lacey because he was a bust for Bama, he could have been a solid 4 year guy for AU

He invited two AU commits to his signing too. Dude absolutely played AU

His dad came up with bullshite story that AU fans ran his business out of town tho after signing

Yeldon played us too telling everyone he was solid then flipped right before the quiet period so coaching staff couldn't contact him

There have been some bizarre recruitments between the two schools for sure. The Callaway drama was wild. Reuben Foster is of course Hall of Fame recruitment

I could not give a frick about any player that chooses to go to Bama. If you are a shitty enough of a person to want to go to Bama, we are happy you didn't come to AU.

Rashaan's father was a star running back at Auburn,

He never played a down at Auburn.

He was a big time recruit for sure, but never made an impact on the field.

Of course, Bo was a legend, but we played 2 halfbacks back then everydown. I guess he could not beat out Lionel James, Fullwood, Kyle somebody.

Not sure what happened, but Alan Evans went from Parade All American to nobody in a short time.

On the flip side. Did any big time recruit flip from Bama to Auburn?

I had heard that Carnell Williams was a big Bama fan, friends with Brodie Croyle and he went to Auburn instead. Bo Jackson was recruited by Bama, butv was told he wouldn't start early by the coaching staff, so he went to Auburn.

Any more?

I'm sure there have been some flips, but none as high profile as the ones you listed.

If I remember correctly, he told told all the coaches he was committing and invited a bunch of other Auburn commits to Auburn HS for his commitment and then put on the Bama hat

I didn’t realize he did that, but that makes me like him even more now.

Let’s be honest..is this any more sh1tty than Hillbilly Gus leaving the sprinklers on by “accident” the night before the Iron Bowl to try and slow down Derrick Henry?

Well you sound like a real prick. Those other high school players didn't deserve to be embarrassed like that.

Give me a break. I bet you believe Auburn fans rolled Toomers Corner too when Bear croaked.

Didn't the OC leave right before he de-committed? I remember thinking it was understandable because the offensive coaching staff turned over.

Doesn't matter, we have a great starting 5 and awesome depth.

Bruce Pearl is doing a great job!
