Didn't the OC leave right before he de-committed?

2012? That would've been Gus leaving if that's the case.

Rashaan Evans,

I was actually surprised when he went to Alabama given the family history

Auburn made a mistake and put his commitment for Auburn on their website, because they were so sure of him committing to them. He committed to Alabama instead.))

Not sure what happened, but Alan Evans went from Parade All American to nobody in a short time.

Know a couple of guys who played with him at Auburn, said his biggest problem was that he couldn't block worth a damn in the wishbone and was on the soft side. He should have gone to UGA, ran the I, more his style. TIFWIW

Jackson has said Alabama assistant Ken Donahue told him he wouldn't play early in his career with the Crimson Tide, though it's just as likely the long-rumored retirement of Paul "Bear" Bryant played a bigger role in Jackson's decision to go to Auburn. LINK
