Texas has its first back to back win over OU since 2009. This can’t be a serious thought.

you're proving his point for him. Now that everyone pays, Dillon Gabriel is the only reason you aren't on a 4-game losing streak to Texas.

I took advantage of the army education money. I was a nurse for 6 years, and did well investing with travel nurse money from Covid. So now I day trade and have a coaching business. I don’t actually use any of the degrees.

Whichever program has the better coach at the helm. Both have national championship ceilings. I'd argue that in the NIL era, Oklahoma has a lower floor than A&M. Not many programs can throw around as much cash as the Aggies.

A&M will never win a national championship. 1939 will live on. They are the laughing stock of the SEC.

A&M and not really close. Today’s college football is all about the money. The allure of playing fit a traditional power is largely gone. Don’t think high school or college age players are going to give OU a discount just to wear an OU jersey.

It’s all about money. The more you have, the bigger the advantage. Just how it is.

A&M is the team of the future and always will be.

Uh, a college grad communicating with other college grads ?? Sorry it went over your head.

Ok whose alter? Literally no college grad talks like this, aside from the blue-haired soy boys up north. Certainly not one who got their degree from a school in Lubbock, Texas

It's a great thing that we will be able to settle this in Norman next fall.

Because it looks that way. OU will probably fire their coach. And in the era of money rules all, Oklahoma is more at risk not keeping up

It's amazing to me how many still don't realize we are in a totally new era of college football. It should be called Minor League Football now. The blue bloods of yesteryear now can no longer cheat to win. Take a look at the parity we are now seeing.

A&M will continue to win, just as Texas Tech will....money money money

Oklahoma will follow the path of Nebraska..golden years are over.

It’s this. Across the board on everything.

Money is king. Above all else. Talk of “blue bloods” history, yada yada only matters to far as they are established brands with big doners that can monetize their “blue blood.” This leads to better coaches and NIL resources. (Ie, why some blue bloods will continue to be successful, Alabama, while others, Nebraska, maybe Oklahoma are at risk of falling behind).

Brother.., you missed my point completely. Point was about money and NIL negating the traditional draw to play for historic brands.

You can think money doesn’t matter. Unfortunately it does. Very real advantages going forward.

Have they? OU and Texas have the same record, and we didn’t need double OT to get there.

Oklahoma has a world champion basketball team that’s always been well supported. People act like there isn’t money in Oklahoma and economic powerhouses like Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri or Louisiana will somehow magically keep up while OU spirals into mediocrity.

If your theory is true it’s literally the death knell of the entire SEC. The northern states are wealthier than every other SEC state other than Florida and Texas. And those two states split their cash between multiple schools. The advantage isn’t that intense.
