LSU is the "best" I've ever seen inside the stadium. It's flat out dangerous outside the stadium

I don't know how it is for everybody else but Jordan Hare, when Bama is there is as intense as Tiger stadium, just without the drunk cajun idiots threatening your 5 year old.

Overall best. Enjoying tailgating, the raucous atmosphere in the stadium, the people, give me A&M or Auburn. Had a great time every time there.

Tennessee too low.

Now that they have life again, that double bowl is great.

I'll take ours over theirs any day any week.

Only surprise was Georgia missing off the list!

I get it, though. Until Kirby got here, Sanford was full of blue hairs and the in-stadium music choice was pretty limited with most students bailing at half.

We’ve now become one of the more electric atmospheres in the country (on field product certainly helps) but it’ll take some time for that reputation to settle in

I’ve been to a number of games in TS and I once asked one of our Tiger friends why it felt like everyone in the stadium knew each other. They said it’s because nearly the whole population of the state lives on I-10 and all their high schools played each other, not to mention all the cousins and blood relations from people living there for generations. Feels like you’re playing the whole state of Louisiana because you kind of are.

Have thought of LSU as being really unique in that way ever since; they’re not just loud and drunk, they’re loud and drunk and at a family reunion

I call bullshite! I personally witnessed UT fans being louder than LSU fans for 90% of the game. In fact, by time the 3rd quarter starter there was more Tennessee fans than LSU fans in the stadium.

Alabama has a solid atmosphere, but I feel like these lists are cheap. Alabama is only this high because they're the most recognized team in the country.

BDS is actually right up there as one of the best IMO, especially when it is a big game and teams are evenly matched . I will admit the last 7-8 years it is has not been as raucous as others bc the games were mostly not in question and it was more a social event( wasn’t the case last year as there were some good crowds / atmosphere) . The list is mostly accurate . Tiger stadium is an awesome place when LSU is good

Vols haven’t always been able to pack that thing out due to sucking it up.

It’s obvious you know nothing about the Vols fan base.
Neyland Stadium annual attendance 2008-2022.

2022: 703,724 (7 games)- 100,532 avg
2021: 691,088 (8 games)- 86,386 avg
2020: Covid year
2019: 702,912 (8 games)- 87,864 avg
2018: 650,087 (7 games)-92,984 avg
2017: 670,454 (7 games)- 95,779 avg
2016: 706,776 (7 games)-100,968 avg
2015: 704,088 (7 games)-100,584 avg
2014: 698,276 (7 games)- 99,753 avg
2013: 669,087 (7 games)- 95,583 avg
2012: 629,752 (7 games)- 89,964 avg
2011: 757,136 (8 games)- 94,642 avg
2010: 698,465 (7 games)- 99,780 avg
2009: 793,760 (8 games)- 99,220 avg
2008: 710,136 (7 games)- 101,448

In the top 10 I’m attendance almost every year no matter who the coaches are. 2008 was 1st year since Fulmer. Since then we had Kiffin, Dooley, Butch, Pruitt and now Heupel. UT sells itself no matter whose coaching or what the record says.

I went to Athens in 1995, wasn't impressed. Architecture of the buildings on campus was nice, true southern charm. Fan experience for game was But the HBC did hang 50 on them so that may have been a reason for the lack of a good atmosphere. Jacksonville has a better fan experience for this game.

Define "fan atmosphere"....that's like saying what is your favorite beer or BBQ. Different strokes....

So Tiger Stadium at 11 am when LSU comes out of the gate slow didn't meet your expectations?
