That is a good point. Darin may have 5 to 10 more IQ points than dj. Which puts Darin's IQ at about 45.

Slightly Exceeded????
Every non-Longhorn on this forum said Texas was going to get smoked in the SEC.
So many 4 to 5 loss games.
Yet here we are in year 1 of Texas' season.....the oly 1 loss team in the SEC.
#1 in the SEC to be exact.
Slightly exceeded my arse. How about Exceeded All Expectations!!!!!

I realize you are a troll but DeBoer in his first yr with an entirely new straff compliled in a few weeks, with Milroe at quarterback, 9-3 is better than any reasonable fan should expect.

Arkansas vegas over/under was 4.5 games won. Pitt won 6. So make of that how you will.

Not sure where you're getting your info from but Vegas said 5.5 wins and we won 7.

True. But most Razorbacks here said Petrino was the secret sauce that was going to get them to 8 wins.

We were picked to go 4-8 or 5-7 and ended up 9-3. Beamer did more with less, unlike some who did less with more.
Your coach makes $6.4M a year. The only reason this season feels better is because he shite the bed so bad last year.
He didn’t do more with less. He did at a minimum what he should be doing. If USCe fans feel their peak is the Duke mayo bowl well I guess he did exceed expectations.

Picked us to go 9-3, so while the wins and losses were different than I expected it all ended up about in line.

I believe many would say that Heupel exceeded expectations. Here is my logic:

Over 60% of the Tennessee fans who participated in the preseason prediction poll said they thought UT would finish worse than 10-2.
This article states the ESPN FPI predicted Tennessee to have 8.6 wins.
The SEC Media Preseason Poll had UT finishing 7th in the conference...and right now they are ranked 7th in the current college football playoff rankings. In a preseason poll of ESPN writers, only Chris Low (a Tennessee graduate) had UT in the playoffs.
Other than 8 UT posters on this board, the vast majority of UT fans and sports media predicted that UT would finish worse than they did this season.

Also considering he lost over 50 players from a team that was a play away from having three losses last year against trash teams with the GOAT at the helm.
Dark days ahead for LSU...

For these teams, it was playoff or bust. If you are in comfortably, you met expectations. If you are also competing for the bye, you exceeded.
Alabama Crimson Tide - Kalen DeBoer - Under (just slightly under since a bubble team)
Georgia Bulldogs - Kirby Smart - Met expectations (contradicts my definition above but UGa fans expected to be in Atl playing for bye)
LSU Tigers - Brian Kelly - Under
Ole Miss Rebels - Lane Kiffin - Under
Tennessee Volunteers - Josh Heupel - Met expectations
Texas Longhorns - Steve Sarkisian - Exceeded
These teams had coaches on hot seat and were expecting to be fired. If you still have your job, you met expectations. If you improved, you exceeded.
Arkansas Razorbacks - Sam Pittman - Met expectations
Florida Gators - Billy Napier - Exceeded
These teams were hoping to see improvement or at least not lose ground in their place in the pecking order.
Auburn Tigers - Hugh Freeze - Under
Kentucky Wildcats - Mark Stoops - Met expectations
Mississippi State Bulldogs - Jeff Lebby - Under
Missouri Tigers - Eli Drinkwitz - Met expectations
Oklahoma Sooners - Brent Venables - Under
South Carolina Gamecocks - Shane Beamer - Exceeded

Vanderbilt Commodores - Clark Lea - Exceeded

Judging by comments from Hog fans since last summer I would suggest Pitman met just about every expectation.
