Edit: and I'm not doubting that he didn't have someone with a connection reach out to him but I highly doubt he did it himself.

Probably LSU, Bama, UGA, Fla, and A&M. Teams that want to win are going to do shite like this until they get their hand slapped.

The coaches do not contact them, but the players can call a coach. So a booster, former teammate, player they met on recruiting, goes hey come to Bama, Georgia, Auburn, etc. and here is coaches number. If we are not doing it, we need to.

Is it legal for a business to contact a player for another team and say 'you come here to my favorite school, and we'll give you 100K'? How could you even stop that sort of thing?
