I can't find Tee Martin's recruiting profile. Anybody know what he was?

Forrest Davis had him as the #1 player out of Alabama. I remember that issue.

Not sure if he was a 4 or a 5 back then. There were no stars back then

the father of the "Bama Bump." A cripple could say he was going to Alabama and all of the sudden be a 3 star.

IDK if that’s with the gift of hindsight be he was a big time recruit

He was No. 1 on Rivals when he was in high school, and tbh I'm not sure if 247 was even around then. So probably a little bit of both.

Texas had 5 or 6 5-stars in that class, but all fizzled out or transferred other than Vince and a 4-year starding D-tackle named Rodrique Wright

Are you forgetting about Justin Blalock? That guy was an absolute beast. I’m pretty sure he was a two-time all American, including being a unanimous selection his senior year.

Yup! You're absolutely right. He was also a legendary OLineman for what had to be the greatest OL to ever be assembled at Texas in 05. I must've thought he was a recruit the next year, but he was a RS-Jr in 05 like Vince was

We see a strong correlation between # of 5* recruits and teams winning at the college level.

Makes sense. Players help, talented players help more.

247 sports did an article a couple years back that showed 5* were making the pros at about 50% rate compared to about a 5% rate for 3*s. 4*s were in the 20% range, but I don't recall exactly.

Of course those are very different sample sizes in each group, but it does indicate the services do a pretty good job overall with ratings.

That said, I'm surprised the USC teams didn't have a 5 star NC winner.

We get it, your conference is so fricking amazing you come here to jack off at night. But no matter how long you hang around or try to add into a conversation. No fricking one wants you here, let that sink in. You're cult of neckbeard, white oakley, inbred retards are so weird you're actually unwelcome. I know, I know, but we suck and you win. But no one gives a frick, you're so weird you forced us to banish you to the kids table.
