Which 5* HS QB's have won NC's

We see a strong correlation between # of 5* recruits and teams winning at the college level. What 5* recruits in the SEC have won NC's with their teams? Go back as far as you want.

Looks like Cam was a 5* composite out of HS, but 4* out of Blinn.
I can't find Tee Martin's recruiting profile. Anybody know what he was?

Tua was a 5* and won it in 2017.
Tim Tebow was a 5* on Scout at least and won the title in 2008.
Cam Newton was a 5* when he committed to Florida and won it in 2010
Jameis Winston, won it in 2013
Those are the first few that come to mind.

Past that recruiting rankings start get a little dicey since you're talking about guys who were recruits from the 90s. Were Tee Martin or Danny Weurffel considered 5* recruits? No way Matt Mauck or Jay Barker were. Jason Campbell might have been if we want to acknowledge Auburn's 2004 Moral Championship.

Watson was a 4* on 247 composite; was he a 5* on one of the services?
Lawrence was definitely a 5* champ as well.

I thought I remembered him being a 4* but it looks like he was a 247 5* composite. Still, no NC so it's a moot point.

Seems like a pretty high correlation. Several who weren't 5* were damn close.

247 has Vince Young as the highest rated player of all time. IDK if that’s with the gift of hindsight be he was a big time recruit.
