The real question is can he recruit at a SEC level. With all the hype, and 170 million dollar facility, I think he sits at #66. Top talent isn't flooding to him, especially up front.
WHAT? Can he recruit? Are you serious?

You will have a vacancy before Auburn does.

I really don't see him being anything more than average as a coach.
I think the exact opposite. The guy has been a winner his entire life. He's been where these kids want to go. He played DB, where I think next to QB, may be the next most important position in football. Being able to coach up a competent DB unit is a huge advantage over most other coaches. I've seen his schemes the last few years and they are quite good. He seems to coach up well the skill positions on offense and defense. There's no doubt he'll get the players, so talent shouldn't be a problem. He is very fortunate to have his sons and Hunter. Those guys are ballers. His QB son will win a lot of games.

Mullen and McElwain self fired and muschamp got four years.
I think my point stands. Is 4 years a long time even in the era of quick firings?
Gus "Snackbar" Malzahn lasted twice as long

There is no way in hell A&M or Texas would tolerate a guy like Sanders. Nor would he like it at either school. Too much interference from the outside.

I could see him going to Miami and bringing the loud mouthed, trashy swagger back to the “The U”.

Arkansas. Our AD gave him 2 interviews.
And Jerry Jones is his friend.

I don’t think he comes to the SEC honestly. His attitude and swag would be huge at a place like Miami

Arkansas has nothing to lose and he already got two interviews in the past.
The only reason he didn't get the job was his inexperience.

He shouldn't but State is an SEC job.

They have one of their own. Cristobal will have a long leash. They are spending, but their recruiting has been outstanding under him.

He won't be in the SEC. he talks too much. He'll be at Colorado, Kansas, Pitt or some shite like like that. He can push boosters and brass around at CU. He can tell the prez to frick off. He won't be able to do that at contending schools.
IMO, there are 3 SEC schools that would lower themselves to hire him in a desperate situation to win. Florida, Ole Miss, and Auburn.
Florida is the most likely candidate as most of us anticipate they will soon fire their 4th head coach in the past 10 years.

This is typical Deion Sanders blaming others

Yeah they don’t need him now for sure. Just thinking that is one of the few places that he would fit.

I honestly think he is the flavor right now. Time will tell how that holds up. He had a team replacing basically every skill position and still scored 42.

He is absolutely the flavor of the moment, and most people are hoping he fails. The guy really does win, though.
Folks are failing to really digest some things about him. First, he's built an unquestionably excellent staff. Second, he's brought in two top-10, 5* players to Colorado and Jackson State in back to back years. Those teams combined have signed exactly Zero 5* players in the last 15 years, and neither has ever landed the #1 player.
He can build a staff, recruit, and prepare players to execute on the big stage. Plus, his kids don't get in trouble. Whatever we think about his temperament and the controversy that he attracts, every program that's looking for a turnaround should be paying close attention.
The perfect place for him would have been Georgia Tech. These Atlanta kids LOVE him. Those Tech folks, however, would rather lose than ruffle feathers.

Hugh will win a title at Auburn.
