Why is it a stretch?
Tarkenton was known for his elusiveness.
Stetson Bennett was only sacked 9 times in 15 games.
Meanwhile, Bryce Young was sacked 21 times in the 12 games that he played.
Hooker was sacked 25 times and Levis over 40 times.

Lol!!! So where is Fromm playing ball now?
Washington Commanders. Doesn't seem too likely he makes the squad after the pre-season is over though.

Atlanta Falcons drafted or not he'll end up in Atlanta they followed him around all over the combine and pro day.
If he got some manner of playing time with the Falcons, it would be a massive hometown draw.

He had enough drive to beat Tennessees arse. You losers don't deserve an opinion on the subject.

And how exactly is this a bad thing FFS??
99% of the members on this site would jack off to a cushy job & salary like this...
He might not be a success in the NFL but will be a success in life, dude is set up to win, if he screws it up it's all on him...

Hit the nail on the head here. He may surprise people (God knows he proved all doubters wrong in college), but he’s not a starter in the NFL. It’s possible he could be a long term backup, but his chip on the shoulder attitude more than likely scares off a lot of teams. Wouldn’t blame them. Need a guy that knows his role if he’s primarily a backup. Not sure Bennett can do that.

You pretty much missed the point on stetson.
He doesn't do anything against the team aspect.
His aim in the locker room will be nothing but positive for the team.
He can grind on coaches because of his belief in himself. If a coaching staff can't deal with that in the NFL, then they are in the wrong profession.
They shouldn't want a player on the team who doesn't do 100% what it takes to get better.

Have you ever read the story about how Fran Tarkenton became an All-American QB at Georgia?
LINK
He ran out onto the field without permission and simply took charge...
And now he is in both the College Football Hall of Fame and the NFL Hall of Fame.

Maybe, but coaches aren’t going to want to deal with perceived problem children as backups in the NFL. Perception being the key word. I think that’s the perception of front office personnel. If I had to guess, I’d say that was also the reason he supposedly bombed his interviews.
I love his grit and attitude. The reality, however, is that this is the NFL and he is a backup QB. He clashed so much with his OC that Faulkner had to act as the go between for him and his OC.

Don’t know if this is true or not but I have heard some people are saying that Will Levis will be the second QB taken in the draft.
I will be surprised if this happens. Supposedly he's bombed a bunch of interviews and teams are turned off by his attitude.

This. I ended up watching all the 2021 and 2022 seasons back to back, and his improvement from first season to next was exponential.

Well AJ decided to leave a shite ton of money on the table to be a backup in the NFL so he could go be the man every week in the XFL and start so his kids could watch him play
Is this actually true? Has he made a lot of money in the NFL? That is absolutely wild to me that he is openly leaving millions on the table for his family so his kids can watch him play football.

I think he’ll be going into the porn industry.
