Maybe, but coaches aren’t going to want to deal with perceived problem children as backups in the NFL. Perception being the key word. I think that’s the perception of front office personnel. If I had to guess, I’d say that was also the reason he supposedly bombed his interviews.

The delusion is strong with the Vols fans. Bennett had 30 more yards passing in the 1st half than Hooker had the entire game. UGA only threw the ball 4 times in the second half. Also, Tennessee was gifted 3 points out of the gate. ...

I know it’s in jest, but anybody that remotely thinks a college team could hang with an NFL team is severely misguided. Georgia set a record with 15 players drafted last year. NFL teams mostly have 53 players that were drafted. They are grown men. ...
