He’ll be a huge addition to Athens’ local Kia dealership

The Falcons need to be more concerned about trying to find a QB in the first round not a 6, 7th round pick. Most likely Bennett is a UFA.

Yeah they either need to ride Ridder or draft legit competition.

Undrafted free agent, doesn't make a roster.
Not sure if he'd even be a scout team qb, since there are so many options out there that they like to use to mirror actual QBs they may face.

But who knows.

He will bounce around NFL rosters for a few years, have a failed attempt as a color commentator, and then some company in Atlanta will pay him $200K/year to be their 'Director of Marketing - Special Projects' which means he will show up at corporate golf events to shake hands & take pictures with clients.

They aren’t taking a QB in the first round.

don’t think Bryce will make it as a long term NFL QB

Bold statement. The odds are that most QBs won't make it as a long term NFL QB. Even the 240 pounders.

The rules have changed. QBs are protected, and size isn't the disadvantage to injury that it once was.

If the QB can read his keys, he is tall enough to play in the league.

Bennett needs a lot more work than just adding on some size.

Bennett improved a ton in the 2022 season.
He still hasn't hit the peak of what he can do at QB. That said... odds are the he still won't see the field. So except for some preseason snaps, no one will really know if he adds more tools to his game.

Don’t know if this is true or not but I have heard some people are saying that Will Levis will be the second QB taken in the draft. I thought CJ Stroud would go 2 but if these rumors are true then Stroud may be the guy that takes that long wait like Rodgers did.

or would he do like AJ McCarron and make 40, 50, or 60 grand a year to play ball in the XFL or USFL?

Well, AJ had already made over $15 million in his NFL career before taking the pay cut to be a starter... little different situation.

Well AJ decided to leave a shite ton of money on the table to be a backup in the NFL so he could go be the man every week in the XFL and start so his kids could watch him play.

So he left millions on the table for the sake of his family? Doesn't make sense.

Just because you don’t like the statement does not make it untrue.

Probably a car dealership or other business in Georgia that'll pay him just to shake hands and take pictures with people and not do any actual work.

Either Allstate or Progressive; possibly Nationwide if they decide to trade up in the Atlanta Metro Area Insurance Salesman Flag Football League Draft.

I can't believe anyone got beat by SB4. He was probably an average at best college QB who never won 4x CFP Game MVP awards, 2x Natties, an SECCG MVP, or was a Heisman finalist.

Stetson Bennett has a high performance IQ with a significant spread between that and his verbal IQ.

While it is a different era, he isn't all that much different in terms of size, speed and intellect than another former Georgia QB by the name of Fran Tarkenton.

Last time I checked, I noticed that Fran Tarkenton is in the NFL Hall of Fame.

NFL teams that actually want to win will not reject him outright.

I think Bennett ends up as a 5-10 year NFL backup. Think Gary Kubiak or Chase Daniel.

Comparing Bennett to Fran Tarkington is stretching it pretty far. Let’s pump the brakes and at least let him win a spot on a team before we start making comparisons like that.
