Where does Stetson Bennett play next year?

I don’t see Bennett making a NFL roster. He will end up playing in the XFL, USFL, or CFL. I have watched the XFL and USFL a lot and out of those 2 leagues I think he would fit in best with the USFL. I don’t think he would have the tools to play in Canada. The field size is bigger in Canadian football and he just doesn’t possess the arm strength to make it up there in my opinion. Looks like he will be stuck playing in one of the 2 spring leagues here and like I said I think he fits the USFL the best. He just better hope these spring leagues are here to stay if he wants to continue to play ball.

He will play for whatever team drafts him. This is such a bad troll.

I’m not trying to troll I’m asking a legitimate question here.
Bennett is interesting. He is way too small to play in the NFL. The best he will probably do is make a practice squad for a year or two. Would he wanna do that though because now players like him has options and choices. That’s my point.

Birmingham Thunderbolts.

Why are you so concerned about Bennett? Dude won 2 national championships and has talent. If he works hard enough who knows what could happen. Personally I love the underdog and hope he somehow makes a splash. Joe burrow overcame ridiculous odds and although I’m an Lsu fan I wouldn’t mind seeing other players from other teams over come. It’s one of the reasons we watch the sport!

To me Bennett is the most interesting player in the draft to see what he does.
Does he wanna go back to the days of being a practice squad player to make a decent living as a NFL QB or would he do like AJ McCarron and make 40, 50, or 60 grand a year to play ball in the XFL or USFL?

I saw yer boy AJ a couple weeks ago when the St Louis Battlehawks came to Houston.

Well AJ decided to leave a shite ton of money on the table to be a backup in the NFL so he could go be the man every week in the XFL and start so his kids could watch him play. Out of curiosity I looked it up and AJ is only making 60 thousand a year playing in the XFL. He took a huge hit financially just so his kids could watch him every week. They do get good benefits package and a thousand buck bonus every week if they win.
That’s what got me to thinking about Bennett. Most likely at best he is a practice squad QB in the NFL. Now he will still make a ton more money being a practice squad QB in the NFL than he would in either the XFL or the USFL. Most likely though he would be the man again in either league. I’m sure Bennett has got pretty used to that over the past couple of years now. He will have to make a business decision just like AJ did. Does he wanna make as much money as he can and go back to being a nobody basically or does he wanna take the pay hit and go be the man in one of these new leagues.
We always hear these players talk about how much they love the game and they would play for free if they had to. I guess for some of these guys we are about to put that to the test now that we have these spring league options for players that don’t make a NFL roster or a practice squad. These spring leagues don’t really pay that much. The USFL players make 5 thousand bucks less than the XFL players do. It will be intriguing to see how many of these guys choose to be a big fish in a little pond rather than a small fish in a huge pond.

Late NFL pick, makes a roster and stays around as third string QB for 3-4 years and makes heap o cash...and would not be surprised if he didn't wind up being a starter for a few games in his "career". He is about the same size as Young and has the skills to make a perfectly functional backup QB. If thats what he wants to do...he apparently enjoys the game so one would think that he wanted to do it.

If it's me, I'm taking the clipboard and the money. Less concussions and better health in my 40's 50's.

His biggest asset is supposed to be his drive to win, that’s not a clipboard personality. He would likely be too toxic holding a clipboard on a struggling team. And he doesn’t have the ability or talent to actually be a guy you turn your billion dollar franchise over to long term. USFL seems the best option to at least give it a try

He will make a roster as a late round pick. Nothing exciting

3 years in the NFL.
Then he gets the option to XFL or USFL or try a new team.
I could see a season of XFL and then back on an NFL roster by fall. But he will get 3 years to prove that he is a viable option in the NFL.
Saying he is too small is foolish. Bryce is smaller. Be a smarter poster.

I don’t think Bryce will make it as a long term NFL QB. He is too small. If he could land in a situation where he could sit behind an aging vet like Rodgers or Brady and put on some size then I would give Bryce a better chance. Going to a bad team with a bad line that can’t protect him is a bad mix for Bryce. Bryce doesn’t want to scramble either which will make things worse. Bryce is a great QB but he is way to small for the NFL right now. Both QB’s are too small for the NFL right now and need time to put on some size but Bryce is a better overall QB. If he does stay healthy he will make a good QB. Bennett needs a lot more work than just adding on some size.

He's even money in Vegas to go undrafted, not sure how this is a troll.
Although if he goes undrafted I assume he'll get picked up by somebody.

Atlanta Falcons drafted or not he'll end up in Atlanta they followed him around all over the combine and pro day.
