Matt Flynn. Ryan Perrilieux. Perrilieux was a five star but a knucklehead. Kicked off the team..

We have Recruited Max Johnson and TJ Finley this year. Both 4 stars finally.

0/10. This is a poor attempt to troll. You need to be better than this...but then again you are Miss State and your biggest symbol as a university is a cow bell so...

Brennan for sure has the better arm and set State records in MS when he was in HS. His release is so damn fast.

What remains to be seen is if he can read a defense and keep plays alive which is where Burrow was just so damn good.

One thing the rest of the SEC might not want to hear: Brennan has two years of eligibility left...and he graduates in May so he'll have lots of time to study film like Burrow taught him to do.

What's really ironic is he's the 3rd guy from that same high school to break those records (all boys boarding school) in the last 15 years.... Where did the other 2 wind up? Lol

Maybe the rest of MS sucks when it comes to HS QB play.

And Jordan Jefferson won back to back 5A state titles as the MVP. It's about coaching, we are always going to get talented qbs and better qbs than moo state. You have the shittiest program besides Mizzou to sustain success as an overall athletic department. frick you and happy Sunday troll.

Well, to be fair, Orgeron went hard after Tua, it almost cost us both Brennan and Narcisse that class.
So that made him an LSU-recruited QB

As to the spirit of the question... seems like Miles chased dual-threat guys. Perrilloux, Russell Shepard, Anthony Jennings, Jordan Jefferson, Brandon Harris. Had Lowell Narcisse as the latest in that line. They all had physical tools, but for various reasons didn't work out.

It was clearly a square peg/round hole situation, as whenever they could find even a decent pocket guy (Lee, Mett, Etling, Burrow) things seemed to work smoother. Brennan fits into that mode.

Miles basically wanted a Deshaun Watson clone, I think Orgeron wants a more traditional Miami/USC style of offense. If you look at the past decade or so, that's what works here better.

They play in public 4A division with 2A enrollment.

So they play up in class and still win/won

Zach Lee had all the potential in the world. I know he made some bucks with the Dodgers but I have to wonder if he would’ve eventually made more in the NFL.
