Burrow was a transfer

Before him, the only good LSU QB of the last ten years was Mettenberger, also a transfer

Was Russell the last QB to be actually recruited by LSU that was actually good?

Irrelevant

There is little reason to fear LSU from now on

No talent, no coaching, no future

Post is stupid, considering 3 of our last 5 starters have been transfers. Basically you’re saying Harris and Jennings weren’t good. Congrats captain obvious.

ETA: Also, this is ironic from a Mississippi State fan when LSU’s starter next year holds the all time Mississippi high school passing record.

Yes, I remember. He and his favorite receiver, Grant Delpit, were on fire that night.

Myles Brennon will shock a lot of people next year. If he wasn’t gonna be great, we would have brought in a transfer.
And
Mississippi State is one of the traditionally worst teams in the SEC, has never won shite and just overall is shite. Don’t worry about our quarterback. Worry about beating aTm for fourth in the west.

Seems like they’re going through a similar stretch like Ole Miss went through recently.

Am I the only one who thought this was a genuine question?
I didn’t read it as shade towards LSU; I think most LSU fans wish Les had recruited better at the QB position.
The national championship will help hugely with this climate.

Brennan intrigues me:
quote:

However, Bobby Hebert says Burrow's heir-apparent, longtime Tiger backup Myles Brennan, excels in at least one important category.

"All I know is Myles Brennan can spin it. He can throw the football," Hebert said. "Watching Myles Brennan purely throwing the football... I'm not talking about playing the quarterback position. I'm talking about purely throwing the football. Brennan can throw better than Joe Burrow, Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill. And look what we think of the quarterbacks, the talent we have with the Saints."

Hebert said while there may be other unknowns about Brennan's game, his pure passing ability is off the charts.

Hebert: LSU QB Brennan already better than Burrow in one key area
