When Joey Freshwater is the best thing that’s happened to your team in program history and you guys celebrate off of a NY6 bowl, consider your entire history as a football team a shite show. Good luck this weekend

He's not but the best era was a long time ago.

Certainly a good portion of it is.

Are NY6 bowls bad? Do you think LSU makes a NY6 bowl this year?

Ole Miss IS the better team. But the better team doesn’t always win. Especially on the road. Dart is gonna be tested.

Vegas certainly doesn’t think so and neither does the public with the line moving from LSU -1.5 to -2

Doesn't seem possible

Florida was the first game where it felt like a multidimensional offense.

To suggest that UT couldn’t have scored more than 40 on LSU or that the game was much closer than the score is lunacy. Tennessee was up by 30 3 minutes into the 4th quarter.

A game can be a blow out and be closer than the final score dictates. 10pts were gifted to Tennessee from trash special teams. LSU forced THREE fumbles all of which were recovered by Tennessee for POSITIVE yards FFS, I believe 2/3 we're deep in Tennessee territory and one was near midfield. How different would the game be if LSU recovered 3 fumbles, if I had to guess very... LSU was 0/3 on 4th down Tennessee was 3/3. Tennessee had a MUCH better starting field position. LSU was missing both their starting LT and LG which caused multiple drive killing pressures, TFL or sacks from the left side (our backups couldn't stop the twist stunt to save their life FFS...). Also Tennessee didn't start burning the clock until their final drive, so they never really let off the gas, yet they only scored 40. Also, LSU threw an interception that hit there reciever in the hands in the endzone but was ripped out by the DB. Had 2 major drops by crossing recievers that would've walked in for touchdowns had they just caught the ball.

We could sit here and talk what ifs all day. But if only a few small things changed in that game it could have been a totally different outcome. You take our returner not fumbling that opening kickoff and Tennessee has 1 less scoring possession. Final Score TENN 33-13 LSU. Tennessee doesn't recover those 3 critical fumbles (all of which went on to be scoring drives but don't remember whether field goals or TDs). Final Score is between TENN 22-13 LSU and TENN 12-13 LSU if LSU doesn't score on any fumble recovery. LSU recievers don't drop the easy catch and run TDs over the middle, final score is between TENN 22-27 LSU and TENN 12-27 LSU. What if LSUs reciever muscles the interception away from the DB and scores a TD at the end of the game? Final Score is betweenTENN 22-34 LSU and TENN 12-34 LSU.

This wasn't a game where LSU was just beat to death with no chance. LSU had 4 unfortunate bounces of a live ball and 3 critical non catches. Like I said, a game can be closer than the final score shows when everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

Does anyone look at Alabama and think... Hmm... This team is invincible... Oh wait... They just lost and had 52 points put on them by a team that only scored 40 on LSU, 10pts of which were given off of special teams mistakes (which were great at doing). Not to mention all the short fields LSU gave Tennessee from failed 4th downs.

I don't think LSU beats BAMA. But if LSU plays to their best ability; no special team errors, offense plays like they did vs Florida combined with the defense playing as well as they have then LSU ABSOLUTELY could beat BAMA.

The only thing that has held this LSU team back is Jayden Daniels fear of making mistakes passing, injuries on the oline and muffed punts (IDFK how you can muff this many punts FFS...). Two of which seemed fixed vs Florida.

As someone in the political rant recently wrote...

"you took the long road to show you are borderline retarded"

Can LSU beat Bama... any given Saturday

But your analysis of an LSU team getting blown-the-frick-out in ... wait for it .... 'Death Valley' isn't the same as a team playing [in a hostile environment] for the victory, up to the last minute.

PS: Obviously I don't think you are retarded... lol.
