Again, which one? Lafayette or Monroe? Just because one calls itself "The University of Louisiana" does not mean it's the sole "University of Louisiana." ULL (I prefer USL) and ULM are equals in the Sun Belt. Neither one has a greater claim on "University of Louisiana" than the other.
USL does not get a claim on "University of Louisiana" the way "University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa" gets on "University of Alabama-Birmingham." Everybody knows Tuscaloosa is the flagship of that system. USL, ULL or whatever it wants to call itself, is not the flagship of the University of Louisiana System.

I’m aware. He’s followed me around for the better part of a year because I refused a permaban bet with him last year. Agreed to one this year with him on the outcome of the LSU/A&M game, but Brennan is hurt so the bet got nixed.
