The Louisiana Legislature has never approved a resolution to rename the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to the University of Louisiana.
There is a University of Louisiana at Monroe and a University of Louisiana at Lafayette. That's it.
I seriously don't know how all of you delusional and egomaniacal U.S.L. (University of Southwest Louisiana aka University of Louisiana at Lafayette) people think that your little school is deserving of a University of Louisiana moniker.
