Turlington Hall at UF is an eyesore. It sucks because it's right in the center of campus, directly across the street from the iconic Century Tower.

“Opening in 1978, Turlington Hall immediately became the most modern jail in the country. Featuring cutting edge design and innovative spacing...”

You guys need to keep that Blocker Bldg and rent it out to Hollywood , that exterior looks like the Bldg that was used to portray the FBI Bldg where Mulder & Scully worked on the TV Show "X Files"
It can also be used used to film exterior B-Roll for any project needing something that looks like it's from the Soviet Union circa 1978

Middleton, yes
If we're going for a name change, Coates Hall should be come Pollack Hall

Tennessee fans should be commenting on their library

Aderhold. Probably not going anywhere any time soon, though.

The 60’s and 70’s were the worst years for architecture everywhere. Probably the ugliest buildings throughout the world were built during that period.
And all those buildings are loaded with asbestos which makes them expensive to get rid of.

Whatever building is named after someone that offends somebody

Not Haley Center, 80% of my classes were in there. But frick Parker Hall! It may already be gone.

No 4 year university should be allowed to have window units on campus
My 4.5 years at GCSU lacked AC. The year I started they put phone lines in the rooms, for internet. I still remember the orange plaid carpet and metal furniture.
Now the shell of the building remains and all the rooms are suits, with individual climate zones. We had radiator heat that had an off or on setting, no adjustment. Amazing what lottery money has brought.

Probably the north campus parking deck and aderhold hall.

Haley is the absolute right answer, but I was also glad they finally got rid of Parker Hall. It was an eye sore too.
ETA: Leto II, you beat me to it. Parker looked like an elementary school in the ghetto. Glad it's gone.

I wouldn't be mad if they went ahead and knocked down Beard Eaves
Unfortunately, Beard Eaves would cost a shitload to tear down because of all the asbestos in there. That’s the main reason it hasn’t been done already.

i can't believe lsu peeps are not mentioning kirby smith. probably the worst looking building i've ever seen on any campus. it's tall which makes it not only an eyesore but, throwing salt into the wound. it's a shame because lsu's campus is about as nice as any i've seen. kirby smith just towers over everything and completely ruins the skyline of italian renaissance terra cotta roofs.

Middleton, Lockett, & Choppin. Thank God they’re planning to demolish Middleton & Lockett.

It's gone thank God.
I had classes there in the late 80s and it was an old eyesore then.

Middleton is bad, but at least it's in the Quad, so it had nice surroundings. It's definitely out of place compared to the others.
The others look like they were designed by a Soviet architect.

Dorman Hall is the worst. And it sits right outside the football stadium. It isn't even worth renovating at this point. It has some very expensive labs or I think they would have gotten rid of it by now.
