If that's the worst you can do, you have a pretty nice campus. UT had an engineering building called Estabrook Hall, built in the late 1890s, that was literally beginning to crumble until it was finally demolished a couple years ago.

Circa 1920

Dorman Hall. Terrible building.

Dorman is shite, but I had a class there a long time ago, and it would make me sad if it went away

There are dozens at A&M to pick from. Pretty much all of west campus. I’ll go with Blocker.

Yeah, that's bad.

Tennessee's campus used to be ugly arse hell before it got a major facelift. The urban architectural style here is representative of bygone era of Brutalism. That's kind of the allure of East Tennessee and Appalachia; Knoxville is called the "Scruffy City." Everything has an industrial and somewhat drab look to it, especially in the winter. It looks kind of like Eastern Europe.

Most of the UK campus has been reworked since 2000. The final change involves the deconstruction of the iconic Kirwan and Blanding Towers that have stood watch over the campus for 52 years. New dorms and a green space will replace them.

They’re coming down the same way they went up, floor by floor. I really hate to see them go.

A&M problem is so many of our older buildings either burned down or were town down. Then we had ridiculous expansion during the 60s/70s and build a shite load of ugly arse shite. Now we’re building building right. But you can basically see 3 types of buildings. The old original types, the ugly expansion, and the modern builds. Nothing matches except for the oaks everywhere.

The 60’s and 70’s were the worst years for architecture everywhere. Probably the ugliest buildings throughout the world were built during that period.

This cannot be understated.
Literally awful architecture from buildings to homes that are stains upon the world's landscape

In terms of residence halls - this mfer needs to go pronto:

No 4 year university should be allowed to have window units on campus. I'm sure somebody has a study that shows window units are more efficient but I don't care. They are a blight to the campus and they've been proven to be dangerous...
