UGA being "too strict" on drugs/alcohol. SEC needs to toughen the rules as a conference.

It's just sports so getting irrationally fired up about firing the guy is pretty dumb. However it's commensurate with his salary, and the tail end of last season was atrocious... he deserved to come under fire. The only thing I found embarrassing was that it got leaked, and I guess the fanbase reaction after the scrub A&M game. The fact that it was used as a political tool by a cynical adinistration was pretty annoying I guess

Yeah the publicity of it had me in Miles corner and his unwavering classy reactions to the ordeal was awesome.
Some of you wanted him run out on a rail after the 2009 season. In '08 LSU went 8-5 and lost to FL/UGA/Bama/OM/Arky the second half of the season. Then in '09 they lost to FL/Bama/OM + PSU in the bowl game.
The summer after the '09 season the TigerRant was livid and wanted him gone. Les even addressed it on TV after the FLA win, when he asked if the fans were satisfied with his 6-0 Tigers?
Les handled this latest shitshow like a champ though. Kudos to the Miles' family for enduring the drama.

It's okay. No one else here likes Irons Puppet either.

Probably that we're DBU of the SEC.

SEC DBU Ranking
1. SC
2. LSU
3. Florida (and now we have their best DB Coach in awhile.)

The Corps
I just don't get this from Aggies. CT's have certainly done things that are embarrassing, but so have non-regs and students at other schools. I will admit their visibility means their bonehead moves get more publicity, and that they invite it in some cases.
What I will never budge on, though, is that they are the singular embodiment of A&M's legacy of military service. The flying uteruses like to say that the Corps is fake military and that it is no different from any other ROTC program. The truth is that it is one of only 6 schools in the US named by the Army as a "senior military college". The others are Va Tech, VMI, The Citadel, UNC, and Norwich. Read about Earl Rudder on D-Day (or any of many other stories like it) and tell me he was fake military.
The culture this legacy has created makes A&M incredibly service-oriented (civic, not just military). Call me hokey, or even delusional, but
articles like this make me proud to be an Aggie and it stems from the history and legacy started by the Corps.
And, no, I was not in the corps.

don't think we have ever lost a game solely because of it, but it does suck we play by different rules.
Well,I would venture to guess that we lost to USCe in '14 because of it.3/4 of our secondary was kicked off the team for our disciplinary procedures and we were torched by an average QB and we also missed JHC's run support.
That loss cost us the SECe.
