Bamas gonna show you what awaits y’all in the SEC. It’s gonna be brutal.

“Destination” schools. Wow.

I'm in agreement with the good Aggie here. I'd hate to be from a place where Clemson and Tallahassee are considered "destinations" and not places to stop for gas on the way to somewhere else.

Good GOD man! Fresh off a CFP run and you're dickriding Bama? Have you no dignity at all?

Bama is one of us. A charter member of the SEC. Why wouldn’t we pull for them over a wannabe program like UT? Texas, just like A&M and Misery, will never be true members of the SEC. No matter how many years your and their presence is inflicted on us. Take your beating like men tomorrow. Y’all gonna have to get use to it. Week after week after week

They both are in the footprint of the SE United States. Both have historic programs that are way more prominent than Texas A&M and Misery.

At what point are you going to address that you have no idea what “destination” school means and pretty much made up the term and hoped no one would call you on it?

Money. I understand that. The true SEC fan didn't want you. I know I didn't/don't.
The powers that be wanted the money.

I'm talking 100% about his business skills. He's extremely short sighted and looks only for immediate cash without regard to the long term consequences.

He's basically a lap dog who sold out to ESPN because they all go suckered into a meaningless pissing contest over TV deals.

Texas offers nothing, Oklahoma offers nothing. This is not to say you are worth nothing, just that they bring nothing new. Oh sure, the overall contract number is going to look bigger and dumb people will probably say shite like "Largest contract ever". But then you have to share it with 2 extra teams and...oh, it's actually the same amount the schools would have gotten without the 2 teams.

It's all stupid, it's not college football and it will fall apart within 10 years.

If Texas and Oklahoma had any sense at all, they'd go back to the Big12. Especially with the new 12 team format, AQ status and all that bullshite. But whatever, sit around as a mid tier SEC team for the next 10 years before you figure it out. I'm sure an extra million or so your school will more than comfort you.

I know you wish this was true, and I know you're just speaking out of frustration because we stomped your bitch asses into the ground, but I'm sorry to inform you that the people who make college football go have very short memories. Within just a few years of joining, the kids coming up won't remember an SEC without Texas. If it makes you feel better, they won't remember the time we beat you pussies like you stole something either.

Of course I will. And should it go badly I'll be back to eat my helping of crow, but IF that happens, YOU remember that you had NOTHING to do with it and you had to get a buddy to do what you couldn't.

I did make up the term. It seemed to fit. SEC schools like to play schools that they consider good destinations. Good places to travel to that are truly in the SE. Not places like Texas, Missouri or Oklahoma

It's not just that they wanted it, they needed it. Big 10 footprint just has way more viewers. You southern baws would've been in the poorhouse in a decade compared to the midwesterners, had you not expanded to Texas. Clemson/FSU don't solve for that.

Big 10 already talking about giving athletes a cut of the TV money. You think that's not a shot directly across the SEC's bow?

You had no choice. The dudes who run your conference know that.

Sorry you are poor and can’t afford to travel across multiple states to the other side of the conference. If my team got to play in the pissant east, I wouldn’t want to play west either.

FYI. That win you are so proud of came against a UGA team that was pissed that they were left out of the playoffs. Many NFL bound players decided to leave early and at the risk of sounding like Alabama there were some injuries to key players. There was no enthusiasm about going to NOLA and playing the likes of UT. Georgia travels as well as anyone in the entire country and many of our fans declined to even make the trip. This game wasn’t that big a deal after being left out of the playoffs and that lack of interest showed

I think you're proving his point in that you enjoy any chance you get to get away from that shite hole that is College Station and go watch your team play in other (better) cities.

I’m glad y’all are here. You’ve got a huge fan base, unearned bravado, goofy traditions, a live animal mascot, and those cheerleader outfits are hot. Welcome, you can take a seat at the kids table with UTk & Auburn til you prove yourself.
