What would justify Lord Saban getting canned before retirement?

What kind of tDecline would have to happen in your mind, if you were the head of an athletic department, that would justify Nick meeting an untimely demise at the hands of the REC? Would past accomplishments figure into how much leeway or benefit of the doubt you'd give him?

Would have to be a pretty big scandal or something like going 5-7 for three straight years. Although I think Bama fans would endure the first season like that fine they'd reach their limit after year two.

Have a former defensive coordinator molest little boys in the shower for years and be part of the cover up. That's about it

Found in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.
That's the only way he'd lose his job.

How original. When I saw the thread title, I wondered how many posts it would take before we got this.

He would literally have to show up everyday drunk and give absolutely zero fricks at a 5-7 season three or more years in a row!

He will retire if he feels incompatible like spurrier

First degree murder.
Maybe.
J/K. For him to be canned, actually fired, would take some type of major NCAA violations. It wouldn't be his record. He would leave town on his own if the record became that of substandard.

It's an offseason stand-by alongside expansion talk, divisional realignment proposals, and (for the past few years) OM vs the NCAA. Unfortunately, offseason topics are damn near the same every year but what else do we have to pass the time?

2 AND 10 FOR 2 YEARS

After last year's travesty against Clemson, if he doesn't win the NC this year, his seat is going to start getting pretty warm.
I'm sorry, I tried but I couldn't keep a straight face.

If he recruited classes outside top 10 for 4 years, the record would decline.
It is what it is. He understands better than anyone that having the best players is 80% of winning. Gameplanning and execution are not as crucial when you have a talent gap like Saban does now.
He is clearly the best at recruiting and it is sort of a self fulfilling prophecy as far as talented players going to talent rich programs.
Only 8 to 10 or so teams have enough talent to stay on the field with Saban right now. I guess if Bama executed very poorly maybe another 10 or 12 teams could block a kick or whatever and win. He might play 3 to 5 such teams in a year. They might play bad for 2 games or 3. So worst case right now would be 8-4 losing to talent rich teams and dropping a game because of poor execution.
I don't think he will lose more than 3 games in a year until talent gap falls to where there are 15 or 20 teams with enough talent to make a contest out of it.

If Nick had a wreck on a Harley with his 15 year old gf on the back.
Or maybe not ....

Something like a video of him and Lindsay Graham going absolutely wild at a gay bar.
Nick dressed up as a "Leatherman" with a motorcyclist's cap.
No idea what Lindsay would wear. But you know him and Nick just getting freaky with all kinds of body shots and whipped cream in a can.
