Thanks for your concern.

Spring is the peak season for the horns. Hope springs eternal, the media is hyping, and all the failures of the past season are forgotten. When fall hits they will disappear after the first loss.

I imagine it will be similar to Aggy.

All of this.

Aggies and Horns are basically the same people wearing different colors.

Horns are just the more urban, liberal cousins while Aggies are the conservative country bumpkins.

But they have a lot of the same traits when it comes right down to it.

Then you'll see how normal Texans operate, as our "rep" has been tarnished by these weirdos from Aggieland...

Imagine that, men at the University of Georgia that actually like to ballroom dance. According to augusta dog, only men in Texas like to dance.

Look here! Georgia also has a college of dance!

The entire group is from Texas.

quote:

The town I live in in Texas does not have a dance hall. The nearest dance hall is about 60 miles and four towns away. The town near my lake house does not have a dance hall. You have to drive about 75 miles from there to find the nearest dance hall. The town closest to my ranch does not have a dance hall. As a matter of fact, you can't even buy alcohol there. The nearest dance hall to the ranch is probably 50 miles. You really do not know what you are talking about.

I had a truck like that once....I sold that Ford and bought a Dodge and now I can get to the dance hall in no time.

If you truly a Texan you not only will get that reference you will have to admit it is slightly funny.....

Maybe augusta dog is just a dumbass. That would explain this whole post.

Or maybe, just maybe, Augusta Dog got three or you to swallow the bait and run under a log....if there'd been more Texans around there'd be a pile of y'all under that log with a sore lip and a strong distaste for Mann's Jelly Worms....

I know a good many UT, ATM, Oklahoma and Okie State fans. Most of them are decent folks, the Oklahoma ones are noticeably more football savvy than the Texas ones though. I have been to Texas games in Austin and Lubbock and Dallas. I have also been to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State games in Lubbock. I have also been to many Texas Tech games and a couple of Texas Tech / TCU and TT and Baylor Games in Dallas....and Texas nor Oklahoma College Football is remotely close to SEC football....the fans just ain't into it. I watched Texas Tech beat Texas in Austen a few years ago for the first time in a LONG time and you'd have thought it was a UGA game and typical beat down of Vandy by the way the Fans were acting. They simply did not care what was going on on the field and while it was sloppy football it was very close.

Watched Texas Tech lose to West Virginia in Lubbock once and TT blew a 4 TD lead in late in the third quarter to lose the game simply because they refused to carry the football. I kept begging TT to simply tote the ball and was told they did not do that in the Big 12 LOL. Outside of tossing tortillas on the field a couple of times in the first quarter that crowd was simply disengaged the rest of the game even when WV was staging a comeback. I seriously have seen Vandy fans more engaged in Nashville than UT fans in Austen even during a tight game....they have no idea what going to Starkvegas means.

The Aggies did a way better job when they came over! I don’t see Texas topping them either! Hell even Mizzou did a better job

I just don’t see how Texas is gonna fit in here! Texas A&M came over and immediately fit right in because they already had ties with a few teams like Arkansas and LSU.

Our home conference schedule is full of teams we don't give a shite about. Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Iowa Stat, West Virginia etc. year after year is just an absolute snoozefest.

OU is the only team that gets us hard and we play them in Dallas.

SEC is chock full of teams that will have DKR rocking. We came out for Alabama, and LSU in 2019. It'll look more like that than what you saw vs. Texas Tech.

I would imagine this is absolutely the truth. It'd better be because SEC fans will flat out take over a road stadium if the home team fans will allow it...UGA, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Forida, UT....all have done it in the past. Not at Texas but at other notable schools.

So Perry Lou…you whorn dipshits ran off the competition with your demands for the largest share of revenue, private tv deals, special privileges, etc. Even with sub par competition you haven’t had a Big 12 championship since before the Aggies left. Kansas State has as many Big 12 championships as you do. and now you complain about the “snooze fest” schedule? Whose fault is that? You got what you wanted, uncontested control of the Big 12. League failed, and you idiots still deny your role in causing it.

What are you talking about? Your school voted in lock step with us every step of the way. We had no special privileges. We worked within the constraints of the rules that were voted on by the conference members.

You all left because we had the juice to get ESPN to throw $15MM/year at us to prop up the Longhorn Network, which was entirely within the rules that you voted for. And this is after bringing up a conference network and being rebuffed. And then going to Bill Byrne at A&M about a Lone Star Network. Rebuffed again.

In the end, all of the haves got what they wanted. More money in better conferences. And the have-nots also won by finding a home in a P5 conference.

Texas used to be a cool school. Had an edge to it. Austin was known for its DGAF attitude and cool music. Now it’s full of woke white women and effeminate men or simps.

go to surlyhorns.com and read the Cloak Room (politics) board. That's what is coming - a collection of reprobates you wouldn't voluntarily associate with in a million years.

It's been that way since at least the late 90s. Everyone is weird, in nearly the exact same way.
