Must be in your twenties and do not remember the Perkins, Curry, Dubose, Fran and Shula years.

Even then Alabama fans expected to win, it is the standard (along with winning titles)

The upsets are in other sports:

Alabama beating Kentucky, in Lexington, in the SEC basketball tournament, 1982

Alabama, in the NCAAs, beating #1 Stanford in the western regionals.....

Honestly I can't remember that many games where Alabama pulled off a huge upset.

1979 Sugar Bowl, Bama beats #1 Penn State for the 78 national championship.

1993 Sugar Bowl, Bama beats #1 Miami for the 92 national championship.

2012 Sugar/BCS Bowl, Bama beats #1 LSU for the 2011 national championship.

Auburn was leading 23-14 at the half. TDs by Sullivan and Gage to close it out. LSU kept Auburn off the board in the second half and had a punt return TD and 2 field goals. 27-23

Of games that I actually attended? I think the 2017 Auburn game. We had just lost to Troy (y'all probably don't remember) two weeks before. Then the week before the game I went TO Auburn to visit friends and see them play Ole Miss. We barely squeak out a win vs. Florida so we have a little momentum. My Auburn friends were just hammering me all weekend about losing to Troy and how they weren't worried about the game at all and had 0 respect for LSU. I basically drove back the whole way fuming thinking "we have to win this game". We go down 21 in the first half so obviously it doesn't feel great, end up coming back and winning and I sent a picture of me smoking a fat cigar in Tiger Stadium to my Auburn friends. They still won't talk to me and I'm blocked on all social media from them.

Actually, Bama has been the underdog many times (see my post above) and I love it. Bama seems to do better when they're disrespected.

Camback and Kick six. We were dogs in both. Also 1993 iron bowl.

Lots against UF.

1993 and 1994 - both dramatic late wins against favored undefeated top ranked Spurrier teams.

2001 vs UF. I believe this is still the biggest upset in college history against the spread for the winning team. We were 30 point dogs.

2006 and 2007 vs UF. Dogs in both of those.

While LSU was ranked higher the Bama in the 2012 championship game I do not think anyone, LSU fans included, considered Bama an "underdog" in that game...

You would. You're not used to winning.

Didn't stop Ole Miss when they won against us. Not surprised and don't have a problem with that.

Enjoyed that game. Gotta let the Corndoggers have a good day every now and then.

Don’t understand the down votes. Maybe it’s because I’ve never considered rushing a basketball court in my entire life but it seems like a statement of fact from where I’m sitting. Which is in my original ticketed seats.

I don't think so with 2010. 2010 game with Cam, Auburn was ranked #2 & undefeated. Bama was ranked #11. Bama had already lost to South Carolina & LSU.

The Kick six was kind of an upset. Bama was ranked #1, AU #4. But it was played at Jordan Hare & Bama has trouble beating Auburn there.

I'm just going by point spread.

I am absolutely positive Bama was favored in both. By 3 in 2010 and by 10 points in 2013.

Bama 2010. They were erupting at halftime til Gus changed the play signals and suddenly Bama couldn't do anything.

Riiiight. Like Gus' play calling had anything to do with that comeback. That was all Cam making plays and your D playing well (sprinkle in a little bit of ball rolling 20 yards down the sideline without going out of bounds).

Your D played great in the 2nd half and Cam made plays where there were no plays. This narrative that Gus is some offensive genius is vastly played out.
