For the Men's Big 3 sports, A&M has to have the worst ROI.
Michigan State, Oklahoma State & Auburn are their land grant peers that run second fiddle as well to the in state giant. Each of those programs have enjoyed far more success.

Do you have any idea how stupid this sounds? The only thing A&M ever did in the history of college football that matters was while it was an all male military school.

I’m sure this isn’t a serious post basking for serious answers, but here goes. Their mens and womens track & field teams 3-peated as national champions, both teams winning consecutive NCAA T&F titles in 2009-10-11. Coach Pat Henry has nine NCs overall at A&M. His former top assistant Dan Waters is Bama’s head T&F coach, so thanks!

I’m aware of his history and have great respect for him. I’ve seen his teams in person. I was a HS and scholarship college runner. Coached high school track and followed the sport for 40 years. The post I replied to was about what sport A&M is known for, so I only included that info.
