Another fine example of the LSU paranoia... but yes, I do want LSU to lose every game in every sport they play

To answer the OP, I usually root for the underdog when UGA not playing. Ole Miss would be cool, Vandy too. USC is deserving especially the fanbase, and for CSS to be back would just be a great story.

I have been on the rant for 70 posts and I think you're freaking out of your mind. USCe fans are unbearable now and their trophy room is no bigger than my closet.

that's understandable.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - South Carolina, for the seventh-consecutive fall, posted the most student-athletes on the Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, as the league released the list on Thursday.

The Gamecocks posted 74 student-athletes on the listing, based on grades from the 2012 spring, summer and fall terms, topping the list by a wide margin over second-place Georgia, who had 57. Vanderbilt had 55, while Florida and Kentucky both had 46. A total of 629 student-athletes earned the accolade for the fall.

Anyone but Bama or Ole Miss. Of course Bama gets mulligans so it doesn't really matter where they finish.

CFB? SCar or Hogs...but I'd want UGA to win BCS CG as a runner-up.

My other two favorite SEC teams are Bama and SC, so one of them.

Although it'd be damn cool to see Mizzou win it now that I live here.

If I wasn't on the rant, I would say Ole Miss.
I guess I would go with USC or Vandy.

My criteria are as follows:

1. A team from the East;

2. that would dispatch any other team in the title game; and

3. hasn't won a natty in recent memory.

Based on this, I would root for Georgia.

It's a one-sided rivalry. Most UGA fans think of SC the way they think of Vanderbilt.

Some of the younger fans under 25 are a little more heated toward them due to the last 3 years.

ETA- we hate them the week leading up to the annual game the same as we hate anyone we are about to play, but for most of us, that's it. They hate us year-round.

We only hate the taterheads year round.

We hate y'all like from July until we play, and then we forget about you again. So that's usually what, a couple of months at the most ... 3, 4?

But we hate the taterheads year-round.

And damnit, if not SCAR then I'd just like to see a team from the East win the darn thing for a change to give us some respect back. The East is a beast waiting to happen - .... eh, the West is the best right now though.

The whole frickin' conference is just incredible. We pick and we prod amongst ourselves but this conference is just incredible to be a part of as a fan.

I'd like to see LSU beat Bama. Bama is just too dominant right now for our own good. We need to mix it up some and keep them humble.

LSU needs to run the table in the West this year and make it to Atlanta. I'd like to meet them there this year honestly.

Has to meet these two criteria:
1. Not Alabama (way too damn many these days, share the fun)
2. Has to be able to keep the streak alive

I'd probably go in this order:
1. South Carolina
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Texas A&M
5. Field (assuming they're good enough to go 13-0 and actually win the national title)
6. Alabama
