That surprises me. I thought UGA and USCe were bitter rivals. I have a good buddy who is a Carolina alum and his whole family absolutely abhors anything to do with UGA.

It's a one-sided rivalry. Most UGA fans think of SC the way they think of Vanderbilt.

Some of the younger fans under 25 are a little more heated toward them due to the last 3 years.

ETA- we hate them the week leading up to the annual game the same as we hate anyone we are about to play, but for most of us, that's it. They hate us year-round.

A&M. An Aggie win and a subsequent MNC would draw all top Texas recruits away from TU and towards A&M and other SEC teams. It would solidify the state of Texas within the SEC footprint.
