Good points. OSU hasn’t yet played any teams on the level of an Alabama, Georgia, or ATM. But they have played several solid teams and have been in complete control. E.g., they haven’t needed a last minute come from behind to beat S. Carolina.

Last year on this date the temperature where I live was 87 degrees. This morning it was 47 degrees. What does last year's GT team have to do with this year?

A&M is not top 5. Entertaining team but more in the 8-12 range.

Bama always crying about exhaustion and injuries

Guess what? GA has the whole right side of the Oline injured when they played Bama. You don’t hear us bitching about it

Aggy’s win last night was a very good win, but I think it’s being overvalued just a bit. That LSU team was already reeling, and they scored right around what they have been doing all season. That said, ANM won that game in all 3 phases. They look like a legit SEC contender.
I’d like to see them have to play 2 good teams back to back, which I don’t think happens with their schedule, before I am ready to say they are ready for a CFP run.

Good post. It has not sunk in for everyone that the days of looking pretty every week are over, especially in the SEC. College football is now just like the NFL, win and survive. That's all that counts now, the W column.

This isn’t some peak Saban dynasty era team talent wise yet that’s what many Bama fans are mentally comparing them to.

It’s a team with major flaws but that fights and claws to win every week and that somehow did what no team in SEC history has done: win 4 straight against ranked opponents including two top ten teams.

I’m just going to appreciate them for what they are and how hard they fight rather than gnash my teeth over what they aren’t.

I think with a moderate improvement in the run game they can actually win a playoff against other elite teams whereas at the moment I suspect they would trip up eventually due to the lack of offensive balance.

I had Bama number one going into this weekend, but that game against South Carolina really makes me question them

Aggy and Indiana are the best teams in the US and A.

This is correct. The Big 10 is below the SEC easily this year.

The Aggies are looking like the class of the SEC until one of the rest of us proves otherwise.

Bama struggling last night doesn't look good for them or UGA but I'll give us both the benefit of a doubt, since we did take down a good looking Ole Miss team, which bounced back admirably yesterday in their win.

People are such retards. Literally last week everyone was saying Bama was clearly the best cause they beat down Tennessee, and A&M squeaked out a 3 point win against either the worst or second worst team in the league. One week later, Bama squeaks out a win over a bad South Carolina team at the end of a brutal stretch, missing numerous key players, A&M beats what everyone knew was a fraudulent LSU squad, and now A&M is the best team in the country, one week removed from nearly losing to Arkansas.

The overreacting is extreme.
