What should I expect from MSU in the Battle for the Golden Egg?

I haven't watched much MSU this season so I really don't know what to expect. Our offense couldn't be better while our defense couldn't be worse. I know what to expect from OM. Thoughts?

Assuming that OM plays a heavy zone like almost everybody has against State, you'll see a ton of short passes in the 5-6 yard range. Leach will try to dink and dunk you to death until he can make you switch to man once or twice, and then he'll try to burn you deep. If Rogers is quick and accurate like he was for three quarters against Georgia, State is more than capable of having success against this Ole Miss defense.
On defense, State is good against the run (DL and LB are by far the most talented positions on the defense) and incredibly depleted in the secondary. They are down four starters in the back for a variety of reasons and everybody that's remaining is either very inexperienced or lacking in talent. There's also only about 20 scholarship players available on the whole defense, so depth is a major concern. At full strength this is a good defense, but they are not at full strength.
My guess is State uses the Arkansas gameplan defensively and sells out to stop the pass and force Corral into some mistakes and then they just hope that their DL and LB's can generate just enough pass rush and run stopping ability.
Ole Miss will get yards and points like they have against everybody. For me it's a matter of how effective State's offense is, and if State's D can get a couple of timely stops. If the State offense you saw against LSU and Georgia shows up, it will be a dog fight that could go either way. If State's offense goes back to not doing anything then Ole Miss will win big.

I posted this in another topic. The key to the game will be how much pressure MSU is able to get on Corral. Ole Miss has been solid at the tackle spots but vulnerable in the interior OL and Corral can make mistakes when pressured. Sometimes he doesn’t. If State can consistently get pressure on him and get him out of a rhythm, then Ole Miss will struggle scoring. MSU will score some points, just a matter of whether or not they can keep up. Pressure on Corral will be the determining factor.

The wind in the Arkansas game played a factor but they certainly had a good game plan defensively.
