The filing also argues that LSU President Wade Rousse and athletic director Verge Ausberry have failed to exercise sufficient control over the football program and ensure compliance with SEC rules.

Not sure there's an explicit rule for it but coercing people to sue the organization you're a member of usually doesn't put you on good footing with said organization.

Weird to hide this evidence for so long.

Let me explain this to you:

They are not kicking you out.

It is leverage to let you know it's time to stop the shenanigans.

Whether you want to focus on Sankey or the 15 other institutions, you are being sent a message. Not sure the average Luzianner rube understands.

The SEC alleges that LSU has lost control of lane kiffin because…..he followed the rules

Makes sense.

I understand the power play, and I agree that LSU isn’t getting kicked out.

My question is this, why is this the hill that the presidents are willing to die on and not the other hundreds of TRO/injunctions that have allowed ineligible players to play?

You understand that Sankey is about to lose in court and then the SEC is going to be visibly impotent?

You guys are ignoring the whole starting this snowball downhill by enticing college players to sue the NCAA and go against conference rules on eligibility.

Not that hard, hopefully you follow the rules in your next conference though.

Attempting to play pro players. General insubordination. Clear?

This is all conjecture and there is no proof of this happening.

So Sark didn’t talk to Cole Hutson?

OM didn’t talk to Chambliss?

Kiffin can’t observe both of those actions and when former players of his call he is supposed to say-“no you don’t deserve to make any money”?

"Coerce"

quote:

To coerce means to force or pressure someone to do something against their will by using threats, intimidation, or physical power

Yeah...you think Lane "coerced" these players...

Nobody should take you seriously...ever

And you are assuming some random unnamed source's vague account of any of this is true, and not spun to fit a silacious story. IF this is true, the more likely story is that these players reached out to their former coach for advice. I'm sure they asked him about how they could come back to play, and he gave them an answer.

There is a reason why no actual evidence has been provided...because the story is bullshite.

1) This is all theater to drive ratings through the roof in 2 weeks

2) Obviously, it's the fact that those guys were in NFL training camp as opposed to previous TRO players.

3) It's like I told you guys months ago- this is the creation of Darth Vader and the Death Star versus the red, white & blue heros American heros. It's going to drive ratings to obscene levels. The Mouse is making bank.

4) Enjoy the show.

Well, if there's not an explicit rule then they broke no rule. So what in the world are they basing this on?

Which is the most absurd line to draw in all this. It's ridiculous to claim that there is some significant difference between players that make training camps and get cut vs those that make it to mini camps and get cut.

Sometimes, when angst, chaos, and anger collide, it can be just delightful !
