He was clearly playing the edge in case there was a rollout or PA. This isn’t the play to criticize him.

Disney is going to hurt worse than Google on this in the long run and the longer this drags on

Are they? Disney has 100% of the leverage here. Google is richer, but it’s not like Disney is dependent on streaming. Disney is gaining direct subscribers through all this. Everyone that has kids probably already has Disney plus, so it’s not that hard to add Hulu or espn unlimited at this point. They’ve cornered the market here.

but as far as I go Disney and YouTube have sort of fricked themselves here, I did a Fubo free trial

Disney also owns Fubo. The only leverage YTTV has right now is Sunday Ticket, because people only pay for streaming for live sports. If this goes any longer, anyone that doesn't care about ST will leave YTTV. They will cave to the mouse.

Is Disney required to make streaming deals for ABC and ESPN? If not they could effectively end the streaming wars tomorrow. They own Fubo AND Hulu, does it not behoove them to remove their channels from every other platform?
To play devils advocate - how is he better than Woodward? Genuine question.

He didn’t hire Kirby.

He also got a degree from UGA too, and has spent the majority of his professional career there.

But he played at LSU so your point is moot. He also played in an era where physicality was demanded. He loves LSU and would bring passion back to the job. He’s also proving himself to be one hell of a coordinator and has a great mentor in Campbell.

re: Brent Key. I dont get it.

Go look at the previous HC record. The only person that has won with any sort of consistency there is Paul Johnson. GT is a historic bottom feeder.
Chris Hilton should never touch the field. He's a terrible route runner and has zero ball skills. "fast" isn't good enough at this level.

He tires wayyyyyy too hard and ruins the good moments because he acts like every first down is a Super Bowl winning play. It’s tiresome.
He’s a POS and a charlatan.

Shane is scum.

Why is Perkins playing in coverage so much?
The Bengals biggest weakness are the guards, not the tackles

Romo tried to give the safety credit too, without blaming the QB. Atrocious play by Browning there.

This. My wife has a Mazda CX9 and I’ve never had to raise it to change the oil. We’re also of similar build.
I also believe some of this is scheme. They have plays that take way too long to develop with an OL that can’t block. Get Chase/Yoshi going on some drags to lighten the pressure.
The people who say “well they paid Chase and Higgins what do you expect” - they literally JUST paid these two, where was the commitment to OL before? Orlando Brown is the only true get for them. The rest are poor draft picks and old retreads.

The Jags going for it on 4th was incredibly stupid. I know it was a drop, but the point still stands.

He gets hit almost every play, even the completions.

I will never understand why Taylor won’t throw quick routes. The Oline is bad, but the scheme is also a culprit.
