Vanderbilt’s status as a private school protects the entire conference to a degree. Their recent baseball National championships and academics protect them, and rightfully so. They are a great asset to this conference.

When Franklin was at Vandy, they rocked out their stadium and beat people. They weren't world beaters but they did compete and their fans showed up. They should have written him a blank check to stay. They would have been much better off, but no, they follow him up with Mason. Bonehead and stupid move.

The pastel wearing pansies win their 1st major natty since the 60's & now they want their daddy out of the conference.... How cute of you

Everyone leftover from the ACC, Big 12, Pac 12 will merge under the Big 12 umbrella and will be the power 3, if the Big 10, SEC, and TV give them a seat at the table.

I don't think Stanford is going to have an issue. Solid athletics, but most any conference would take them for the academic prestige. It's academically ranked higher than Vandy and actually has a functioning athletic department.
Washington St, Oregon St, Wake Forest...all in serious trouble. Pitt could probably land in the Big 12 like West Virginia did and at least have a geographical rivalry there. I figure Syracuse will eventually make it into a Big Ten super conferences after an appropriate amount of begging.

If vandy won’t drop academics, they are the first on the chopping block.

Hey Beavis, we don’t play vandy every year.

So there are 65 counting ND
Adding 4, UCF, Cinn, Houston, BYU.
If we settle on 56.. that’s 2 confs of 28 teams, 4 - 7 team divisions.. 69-56 = 13 out
UCF
HOUSTON
CINN
TCU
L’VILLE
BYU
BC
‘CUSE
OREGON ST
WAZU
CAL
BAYLOR
WVU

Vandy is not bama’s permanent cross division partner. That distinction belongs to tennerseeds

That whole covering up a team gang rape of a coed kinda bothered the Vandy folks.

Honest question, do you think both Mississippi schools will be included if there are two super conferences with limited member access?
Posted on 7/8/22 at 9:36 am to cyarrr
what do you consider limited access?

Not all of the power 5 schools will be included according to talking heads in the media.
If true, and if it’s about the money, does this affect schools like OleMiss/Mississippi State, Iowa/Iowa State, Kansas/Kansas State…?
Especially considering some of these teams are not considered national brands and are located in small media markets.
