MSU and Ok State will be a good comparison once my billions roll in and I can fill the T.Boone Pickens role for MS State

Auburn=Clemson=Purdue

We all refuse to acknowledge the state we're stuck in.

I read a comparison of USC and Alabama. While I don't think it's a great comparison

I would put Oklahoma ahead of USC vs Tide

I thought about was Georgia and UCLA

Georgia is more like Clemson than UCLA

Florida and Florida State as both really did not rise until this generation

Vanderbilt and Wake where academics outweigh sports

Kentucky and UNCheats where basketball is the primary sport

Ole Miss and UVA because the parties are bigger than the games

No, not in a million years.
A&M is better
And no, I’m not trolling.

Georgia doesn't have a big brother

Not since Tech went to the ACC

Tech had 3 MNC's with 3 different coaches in 3 different eras in the SEC.

if UGA continues to increase the enrollment in its newish engineering college, I could be ready to proclaim it the Clemson of the SEC.

Real talk, for some reason, I think msu and va tech remind me of each other. Ag schools and colors.

I've always thought North Carolina State for South Carolina.

Arkansas is Clemson. Shows what coaching can do. In 2011, coming off back-to-back double digit winning seasons and sitting in the Top 5 in the Final Poll, we are the same program, even geographically. Petrino ditches while Dabo saves his job by hiring Chad. Now they are the better program. Happens just that fast.

Still a super similar program, historically, campus wise, geographically, etc. Only real difference is we don't have as big a lil bro in state.

SC is set up more like UNC. NC State is more like Clemson.

Arky was leading for my Clemson of the SEC designation for awhile. It is basically a 4 way race now.

A&M and Virginia Tech

-Morrill Act schools
-Senior Military Colleges
-both have shitty rival schools in state that think their shite don't stink
-Engineering background
-Major high profile tragedy on campus
-Blue collar salt of the earth fanbase
-nice college town
-both have a high profile former player with a shady off the field persona

You fricking wish. That's Vandy level. Y'all are a class below. Arkansas is a class below y'all. Accept reality for what it is.

State and Kansas State are almost identical. Kansas State has that one year they almost made the national title game. State had that one year they were No. 1 for half the season

Until the 90s, both teams had little relevance of any kind. Even the kind that had regular winning seasons.

Kansas State has a run of good basketball teams. Mississippi State was hell for a while in the 2000s.

Mississippi State has a not putrid baseball history which separates them a little.

SMU is in a big city, with 3x the endowment of Ole Miss

They seem to have a similar vibe student wise. They care more about tailgating than the games. They have no qualms about cheating.

Also, while SMU is technically "in" Dallas it's not actually located in Dallas. University Park is a separate city that is surrounded by Dallas. UP's population is under 25k.

All universities teach, but no school has a better reputation of alums entering the workforce and being a contributor faster than a&m. I have a great amount of respect for what they’re doing there.
