I'm going to go ahead and claim the Ramones as well.

Look at this famous album cover. Notice anyone?

Yup that is Ole Sarge.

And UGA does not get to claim the Brothers. Switch that with Widespread and you're good to go.

Why not? Although not born in Georgia, they lived their adult lives there, recorded there, died there, and are buried there. I'd say that makes a pretty good basis to claim them.

I've definitely heard Keen speak somewhat negatively about A&M/College Station on live recordings. Not as sure about Lovett. Regardless, it is incredibly that these two behemoths linked up together in college and A&M should be proud either way.

ETA: I know y'all are gonna ask for links but I don't have that in front of me. Maybe I'll try to find examples later.

LSU = Mel McDaniel, ONE Garth brooks song, ONE CCR song, and mostly ghetto garbage rap music.

Too bad Zydeco or swamp pop isn’t played at least a little in the stadium pregame or something. That’s truly unique to LSU fans compared to the rest of the SEC.
