Don’t worry, you have plenty of humiliating losses to crappy big 12 teams.

That’s a long and distinguished list. It’s tough to be a Mizzou fan for 40 years.

2015 takes it, though. Allowing a bunch of race-baiting commies to ruin the University for several years, in a completely contrived/ fake incident, is awful. The lack of leadership to allow that to happen is staggeringly humiliating.

You’re confusing humiliating and disappointing

You seem to be confusing infuriating and embarrassing. The LSU game should be infuriating to a UT fan, but it was crazy in game error in a hostile environment.

What should be embarrassing to VOLs about that game is the temper tantrum they threw after it, instead of trying to finding positives. So much so, they gave zero cares about salvaging the season over it and just threw turds at the program until a change was made. This game really showed how bitter vol fans can be. People understood getting pissed about kiffin leaving the way he did, but the continued bitterness over that LSU game really did wonders for hurting any respect UT fanbase had. The decade of garbage was earned by the fan base.

I would think UT paying WY a bunch of money to come to Nashville to beat them, getting their legendary coach fired, would be high on the list of embarrassing moments.

2008-2020 was basically one (or multiple) humiliating moment(s) after another.

2008: lose to Wyoming at home
2009: Kiffin leaves for USC
2010: 13 men on field vs LSU
2011: lose to Kentucky for the first time since 1984, Arkansas punt return
2012: lose to Vanderbilt 41-18
2013: lose to Vanderbilt at home in the final 20 seconds
2014: lose to Florida 10-9 in the first Checker Neyland game
2015: lose 4 games by a combined 17 points
2016: choke away an easy division title by losing to South Carolina and Vanderbilt
2017: 0-8 in the SEC, Schiano Sunday
2018: SEC losing streak ends at 11 (thank you, Auburn), blown out by Vanderbilt with bowl eligibility on the line
2019: Georgia State, BYU
2020: start 2-0, end 3-7, McDonald’s bags

I will never forget walking out the stadium after the 2010 Tennessee game, everyone was just laughing.

21-0 to Bama in the natty is the obvious one but losing 17-0 in Arkansas with 123 total yards was brutal too

Bama fans like to talk about how you only crossed the 50 yard line once in that natty, but I don't think you guys ever crossed it in that 17-0 Arkansas game. Additionally, Arkansas broke a 17 game SEC losing streak with that win. And you guys were ranked. We went on to shut out #8 Ole Miss (30-0) the following week.

I would think getting your arse kicked at home by a Maryland team that finished dead last in their division would be at the top your list. Then following it up with another loss to them the next year... Sheesh.

That might be worse than losing to that App State team.

Some of the more memorable recent ones for me:

2008 Down 31-0 to Bama
This was legendary, this announced the Saban dynasty like nothing we may ever see again

2008 UF game - Urban Meyer calling timeouts in the 4th just to rub in the 40pt blowout as revenge for 2007

2011 SECCG - Men against boys. This LSU team ran us out of the building even harder than 2019. I remember wondering when was it our turn to have the buzzsaw??

2016 Home loss to Vandy 17-16 - Lived up the road on Pope St. at the time and that walk home featured plenty of four letter words

2017 NCG to Bama - thought we'd never break through

But the worst of all imo was losing 35-7 to SC in 2012. It seemed like the entire team just shite their silver britches that game. We got EMBARRASSED badly in a big national matchup. Murray was on the ground so much he was turning into compost

That South Carolina loss. Everything that could go wrong went wrong that day. Imagine losing that badly to anyone - especially SC. Talk about embarrassing!

That game was in Knoxville, not Nashville

The decision to fire Fulmer was made prior to that game. Fulmer actually told the team about this in the locker room prior to the game (which probably affected the team’s effort that day)

WTF are you even talking about
What temper tantrum are you talking about? Threw turds at the program until a change was made? That was year one of Dooley - he was given two more seasons to right the ship and he couldn’t.

Frankly, I think it’s clear you don’t know anything about Tennessee football

If there’s such a thing as a humiliating win, this game qualifies for Auburn.
