Wtf is wrong with El Paso. It's awesome. Beautiful scenery. Great town. One of the coolest stadiums and campuses in the country.
You hiking the mountains in winter time? I’m not.
How are fans getting there and what are they doing when they get there?

If Montgomery has a bowl, anybody could have one.

Detroit is indoor and has pretty nice restaurants, cheap flights, casinos and high end hotels.
Yep. Detroit isn't so bad anymore. Downtown is a techie hipster mecca moreso than a ghetto dump anymore.
The neighborhoods are still really bad in places, but there's really no reason to get out in the neighborhoods while visiting for a football game.
Shreveport sucks donkey balls.

Birmingham is by far the worst to me. Such a shitty experience.

I was thinking Shreveport before I even opened the thread. Place is a total shithole.

Places like New Orleans and Memphis used to be fun but a certain demographic has ruined it by making it too dangerous to go out
I used to go to Beale St a lot but I won’t do near there now

The Liberty Bowl is always cold AF. And the way the stadium is designed, the wind always makes it feel even worse.
Went back when we played Air Force under Sherrill and it was miserably cold. I wore insulated coveralls and was still freezing.

Depends on who you’re playing. Ole Miss/ Oklahoma and State/A&M were fantastic bowl games in Shreveport.

I went to the Hall of Fame Bowl in BHM in 1981. NYE , State beat Kansas. Had a great time. WX wasn’t half bad.
But I have always enjoyed BHam. Good city to visit.

Yep the Snow Bowl in 2000 was one of those games that people still talk about today and will continue to for years to come.

College Station is a nice, safe college town. Shreveport, much like every other major in Louisiana, especially Baton Rouge, is a shithole.

Any Bowl that isn't in FL, CA, Vegas or NO isn't work going to today.
