They are located in the Midwest, and no amount of Try Hard is going to find them embraced by the rest of the SEC.

They don't fit with the rest of the SEC culturally.

They still reek of Big 8 stank.

They jingle their keys on third down to gay, Mexican trumpet music.

Which is why you should've fought tooth and nail to stay in a conference with them.

As many of you know, I have adopted Mizzou as my second favorite SEC team.

I also recall you thinking Hillary Clinton was sexy.

They put them in the East. That was an unfair thing to do instead of moving one of the Alabama teams to the East. It makes Missouri an odd team. They should be playing LSU, aTm and the Mississippi schools every year. That would’ve generated more natural hatred and rivalries. We could’ve had the Louisiana Purchase Cup. LSU, Arkansas or Missouri would win every year and get to keep a bust of Thomas Jefferson for the year.

I still haven’t accepted Arkansas. I will never accept Mizzou. Their biggest rivalries are with Kansas and Nebraska. Not an SEC Team.

I also don’t accept Oklahoma or the Texas schools either.

We’ve not had enough high-level success to be respected by our own fan base. We’ve been consistently good and sometimes very good but never consistently great.

I don’t really care if we’re respected or accepted, unless it interferes with rankings that we may have earned.

They just don't feel like an SEC team and never really have. It's an odd fit. They belong in the big 12.

I get the reason they were brought in, but it just hasn't worked out.

South Carolina isn't an original SEC team, but Mizzou fans are great. We've had some outstanding games with them since they joined the conference.

Thats fair. Just about a third of this conference fits that also.

Mizzou, UK, OU, UT, TAMU. One could even argue Arkansas.
