According to most on this here board it is a foregone conclusion that Georgia stomps Florida on Saturday. Even though I am sure it is never going to happen, let's just take a look at the effect a Florida upset would have.
Kirby would go to 3-3 vs Florida.
Mullen would go to 2-2 vs Georgia (while at Florida).
UK and UGa would both be 5-1 with 2 games to play. (barring a State upset of UK)
The question is, would Georgia drop significantly or just slightly to allow them to remain in the playoff race? I think a win vs a 1 loss Bama in the SEC title game would get them back in the playoff race regardless.
Anyway it is an interesting thought if UF could pull the upset, but I am sure everyone OTR knows that will never happen.
UGA can lose to Florida and still make the CFP if they win the SEC. Potentially, depending on how other teams perform the rest of the way, an undefeated UGA could potentially still lose a tight game in the SECCG and have a chance to make the CFP as a 3-4 seed. Lose to Florida, and that scenario is right out the window.

Kentucky would then play Auburn for the SECCG. That lightning ain’t just striking in Jacksonville.

Better chance The Donald and The Pope play 18 holes at the Blue Monster than UF beating UGA

Florida doesn’t have the offense to beat UGAs defense

Florida beating Georgia would require Mullen winning a big game. Not gonna happen.

Now what were they ranked before they played Georgia? We also can't help it if rhe East is a shite show with the exception of KY. Hell, even Tennessee is showing some signs of life. They'd have been mailing it in by now the previous 5 seasons.

Here are the rankings of total offense for teams Georgia has played:
Clemson 117
UAB 84
South Carolina 114
Vanderbilt 124
Arkansas 18
Auburn 30
Kentucky 76
We shut out Arkansas who you have at 18. Your point again?

Well, you'd be at 50% against #1 ranked teams and oh, so close to 100%..
I don't believe it's out of the realm of possibilities. Upsets happen all the time! Most of the time the divide or differences in talent is a lot wider than the talent gap between ga. and fla...

Has any other ranked team played this many games against 100+ ranked Offenses?
I was actually looking at that earlier when the local radio guys were proclaiming the uga defense was some sort of unbeatable force. I've watched them a little. They're very, very good but people always exaggerate and overhype all things sports.

You're putting a lot of faith into the critical thinking abilities of some absolute window-lickers if you think that's what most people believe.

Everyone should be rooting for Florida. Let's have chaos this year

our run D is an unstoppable force. Kentucky ran 51 yards on 27 attempts while they have run all over every team they've played.
We haven't faced an elite QB yet to expose our DB's

Yep that run defense is crazy and you are correct as you have played very pedestrian passing attacks that didn't pose much of a threat. If Richardson plays most of the game Georgia will see what its like not facing QBs as limited as Jefferson and Bo Nix etc.

So your saying Richardson this year is better than Bo Nix and Jefferson?

Essentially, he means to say that both Emory Jones and Richardson are better than Nix and Jefferson (Jones has been starting over Richardson... that is the most basic starting parameter that we can confirm).

He has been kept on the bench mostly for no good reason as Mullen is hard headed. Next season they will refer to Jefferson as a poor man's Anthony Richardson and there is nothing more to really say about Bo Nix's limitations.

I can’t imagine that’s accurate after we had 5 yards going into the 4th Q
