According to most on this here board it is a foregone conclusion that Georgia stomps Florida on Saturday. Even though I am sure it is never going to happen, let's just take a look at the effect a Florida upset would have.

Kirby would go to 3-3 vs Florida.
Mullen would go to 2-2 vs Georgia (while at Florida).
UK and UGa would both be 5-1 with 2 games to play. (barring a State upset of UK)

The question is, would Georgia drop significantly or just slightly to allow them to remain in the playoff race? I think a win vs a 1 loss Bama in the SEC title game would get them back in the playoff race regardless.

Anyway it is an interesting thought if UF could pull the upset, but I am sure everyone OTR knows that will never happen.

1-loss SEC Champ Georgia gets in 100 times out of 100 regardless of who the loss was to.

Here are the rankings of total offense for teams Georgia has played:

Clemson 117
UAB 84
South Carolina 114
Vanderbilt 124
Arkansas 18
Auburn 30
Kentucky 76

Has any other ranked team played this many games against 100+ ranked Offenses?

We would fall to 7 probably, with no impact on the ability to control our own destiny. It would eliminate all of the safety net.

It would also piss me off.

- UGA uses mulligan. They will go to the playoffs if they win out from there.
- Mullen off hot seat for now (is this a good thing or not?)
- It will be a fairly bad loss that will not reflect well on Kirby given the current environment. He can atone by winning out.

What does it matter?

We have the #12 SOS. More than good enough.

And by the way, LSU is the only SEC team with a tougher SOS.

Georgia will run for 300 yards on Florida's crappy defense. Gators couldn't stop LSU's run, and LSU can't run on anyone.

As usual you’re an idiot and out yourself for it. Remove UGA from their schedule and how do the rankings change? Using your own numbers irrespective of my first sentence, how did UGA perform on defense against the well ranked teams?

You would still have 3 teams ranked 100+

Your schedule has been putrid and a big part of that is the SEC East being so bad. You have Missouri, South Carolina, and Vandy on the schedule which is like having three more bye weeks. It's pitiful.

It would make the SECCG an elimination game for both teams.
