Does he keep his job?

It's hard to find 8 wins on this schedule to get them to the requisite 8-4.

09/02 - New Mexico
09/09 - at Miami
09/16 - Louisiana-Monroe
09/23 - Auburn
09/30 - v. Arkansas (Arlington)
10/07 - Alabama
10/14 - at Tennessee
10/28 - South Carolina
11/04 - at Ole Miss
11/11 - Mississippi State
11/18 - Abilene Christian
11/25 - at LSU

Aggie fans tell us how it was the greatest 6-6 or 7-5 team in the history of football, give Jimbo another contract extension, and move on to off-season topics about how they've got the best recruiting class of all time and they'll win a natty the next year.

Honestly, that's a wrap. I applaud the accuracy.

As evidenced above, Aggies would be in “Burn it down” mode.

I suspect we’ll get back to our more traditional 8-4.

I could possibly see them starting 5-0 but finishing 3-4 with Ole Miss being a toss up.

09/30 - v. Arkansas (Arlington) W (toss-up)
10/07 - Alabama L

I can easily see 8-4 next year. They have the QB situation figured out.

A&M beats both Ole Miss and LSU.

Based on what?

A&M hasn't won in Baton Rouge in nearly 30 years and Jimbo can't beat Kiffin.

Let's count'em up

09/02 - New Mexico W
09/09 - at Miami L
09/16 - Louisiana-Monroe W
09/23 - Auburn W
09/30 - v. Arkansas (Arlington) L
10/07 - Alabama L
10/14 - at Tennessee L
10/28 - South Carolina W
11/04 - at Ole Miss L
11/11 - Mississippi State L
11/18 - Abilene Christian W

5-7, he's still staying regardless cause his buyout next year is still gonna be high as frick. Aggies are stuck in limbo.

As said by others ... same as Calipari. This is what happens when your AD panics and gives out such a stupid contract.

Jimbo and Calipari ain't leaving until they want to leave.

Unfortunately this is Dumbos last season and 5&7 continues to be the laughing stock of America when they at him $90 million to get lost!

Just a hunch vs Ole Miss.

BK cannot beat Jimbo.

Unless Jimbo creates a "cause" termination he's the HC @ A&M til '26 at a minimum.
