5-7 record + beat LSU = print cups then irrelevant as usual

or

5-7 record + lose to LSU = disappear then irrelevant as usual

Hm, what a predicament. One of them has to break through and win. It will be interesting how this one plays out.

He’d be fired.

What happens to the rant when he goes 11-1?

I’m an Aggie…let’s just say, he ought not to accept any overnight offshore fishing trips with boats carrying chains and cement blocks.

Why not 12-0? We’re talking about Jimbo here, aim for the stars.

Whatever the consensus on Aggie football is, the opposite will happen. Therefore A&M will win at least 8-9 games this fall.

These are exactly the type of threads that everyone gets so worked up about.

Because they said something silly in an off-season thread, they can’t admit they were wrong and can’t handle it if the games turn out differently than they predicted.

Creates lots of angry/sad people who lash out in shite posts later…

Ya'll ain't gonna get to 10 points next year until you get the QB situation sorted out.

But seriously, he'll win 9 games with a win at the Liberty/Music City/Duke's Mayonnaise Bowl, thus wetting the appetite of the fanbase and allowing him to go 5-7 in '24. Total SOP.

I can see anywhere from 5-7 to 9-3 with 8-4 being my most likely.

If they somehow miss a bowl, Jimbo has to go. 6-6 will depend on how they got there. 7-5 he should be safe with the rollercoaster picking up steam that next offseason.

The real question is if they struggle early does Jimbo throw Petrino under the bus and try to ride in to save the day?

That Miami game is huge. If he loses to a below average Miami team (That went 5-7 this year as well) the second week of the season, I can see the heat getting turned WAY up on him.
