He was a shitty recruiter as a RB coach, and cannot call ball. He needed to be out.

Leaving on his own. Some day us men will realize the one thing that we all love most sure will get you in a lot of trouble. It has been and always will be undefeated

So he was forced out.
If not, why mention that.

Hugh- forced out.
Bobby- forced out.
Mel T.- forced out.
Caddy- forced out.

Serious response here….not for Plebs!
Call it a mutual agreement to be honest. Pre Freeze is all I am going to say. ZE was shopping himself during the season and word is has issues with players as well.
McGriff has a house in Auburn since his first coaching job he truly wasn’t wanting to move.
I would like to think the Good Old Boy days at Auburn have finally come to an end and this is further evidence it has.
It’s Hugh’s program from day one. He immediately had to deal with the Hunter incident (Harsin/Williams) watch. With his past you can imagine to PR fallout right off the bat. Auburn has managed it well this past year to get through the season and hats off to Coach for having to deal with it while recruiting his arse off and having to hire coordinators quickly when he took the job.
I understand the jokes and they are expected in today world. The fact is Coach has complete control of the program, cleaning house including the cob webs in the corners.
Explains a lot about the inconsistency this past year.
More cleaning to come.

A situation of resign or be terminated. AU allowed him to resign and save face largely due to his contribution to AU for so many years. It's unfortunate because AU fans and most fans of other schools all love Cadillac. But sometimes as men we make stupid decisions and those decisions often have consequences.

Pretty much the definition of forced out. He's resigning because his other alternative is a worse leave.

So he got caught cheating on his wife? Good Lord, why can’t men keep it in their pants when their entire career, families and jobs are at stake?

I don't disagree man. I know there's a shitload of temptation all around a college campus, but you have to be smarter than that

His wife already went through a bunch of shite like this with him. I almost feel sorry for her.

I was at Auburn at the same time as Caddy when he was a player and can tell you for a fact, he couldn't duck all the trim that was thrown at him and he lived it up. But it's different doing that as a single player than it is as a married coach. There's a lot more responsibility and consequences as the latter.

Anyways, I hope he ends up making it through all this and can land on his feet somewhere because I think he is a great guy.

Wasn’t long ago Auburn thought he had potential to be the future. Players wanted him to stay.

Freeze comes in, puts a shitty product on the field and then starts cleaning house afterwards. Blames coaches for the bowl game plan and generally seems like he’s in over his head this time.

Good stuff, ya just hate seeing it happen to such a good fan base.

Caddy was literally "dicking" around and they told to resign himself. Auburn doing their best to keep story quiet. He was nothing but a glorified cheerleader anyway. Another person auburn had to pay to go away.

It is pretty astonishing how quickly and completely the Auburn fanbase has turned on Cadillac. Poor dude has given most of his life to Auburn only to get shite on.
