From his bio

Chose to attend Arkansas he feels like this is the best place for him to reach his full potential as a player … Ambition is to impact a lot of people, as well as bring positive change to the hospital he will work in … Plans to become an orthopedic surgeon after his playing career is over

He picked DVH and Arkansas to help him maximize his potential. But I'm sure he appreciates your input of what he should be doing

shite is starting to simmer down now. It was an emotional weekend. Best series of the year and I'm not looking through Hog-colored glasses. I think Tennessee is ranked in the top 3 Monday. I sure don't want to face them in Omaha

That decision was up to Kevin Kopps.

That is how DVH approaches a win or a loss. You don't get high as a kite after a win and you don't sob after a loss.

Which is a big reason why DVH has done as well as he has for as long as he has.

Oh yes, but that doesn’t mean we can’t poke at him either. That checkerboard face thing has got to go tho- too reminiscent of Pruitt.

If he threw the same number of pitches in a CG start you wouldn’t say a word

The beef has to be one of two things:

1. Vitello critiqued DVH using Kopps too much. If he has beef with 24 YO Kopps going 120 or whatever pitches, then he needs to beef with himself pushing his 18 YO pitcher well over 100 pitches multiple time.

2. Vitello beefing over DVH or one of his coaches telling recruits that they should come to Arkansas because TV won’t be at Tennessee long. If this is the case DVH is sorry for the mean, hurtful, accurate things he has said.

I just think Vitello didn't take the loss very well in a close and emotional game.

He was angry and mouthed off at DVH. Then DVH probably told him the game was over and so cool it.

Then the Tennessee team was walking toward the Razorbacks as they were talking with DVH.

Uh, two Cy Young’s in Dallas Keuchel and Cliff Lee. Cliff and Dallas would both say Van Horn ruined their arms. These are jealous idiots that don’t know dick about baseball.

You’ll have to get Jomboy’s nose out of Aaron Judge’s arse first. FTG.

Kopps pitched 125 over a 3 day period. Tenn pitched a guy 103 today! That seems worse right?

Again, not sure why posters like Hawgeye are so upset. I am only thinking about the kid’s future since his coach won’t.

Lmfao!!
Thinking you know better than the man who gets paid millions and is around him everyday. And who has been a pretty successful coach for years, at a high level of competition. Also surrounded by team doctors and trainers....
But by all means; Thank God that college baseball has you of all people looking out for kids’ health; from behind your computer screen. How much do you get paid for all that extensive knowledge you possess!?

The whole thing was legitemetly about recruiting.

Vitello came up to Van Horn and said something to the effect of "Yeah, how is is winning with all the players I recruited for you."

And Can Horn then got pissed and said something to the effect of: "Yeah, only the ones you weren't trying to steal on your way out the door."

Thats what really happened. Vitello was being a bitch. DVH, who is a known a-hole if you talk to former players, didn't take kindly to it.

There. That's all it was.

If that is the case then why did it prompt Vitello to say that at DVH?
