Yeah there’s really not much to guess. Vitello probably doesn’t think it was random that Kopps threw more this weekend than any other weekend this year. It probably wasn’t.

I believe he pitched in two games in an earlier series with 111 pitches.

But the object of the game is to win.

VOLS seemed interested in throwing some hands but Arkansas clearly didn’t want any part in a physical altercation.

We're at their place. No one was stopping them. You think they want a piece of Zebulon Vermillion and Lou Stallone? I don't think so. They turned around and walked back. Not us. We won. They wanna take an arse whooping post game too, they can come to us. That bullshite they did is just pussy arse posturing.

Can’t win the series, so try to win a fight, huh? Arkansas would have won that too.

I’m a pacifist of course, but a friend of mine who is a fighter tells me that Arkansas would have a hard time winning a fight that they walked away from.

I imagine this series meant a ton to Vitello. Beating his mentor, beating the #1 team on your home field, and a win would have put them in the driver's seat to win the SEC regular season title. The last would have been huge for Vitello's effort to build the Vols into a national contender. I can understand him being a bit cranky afterwards.

Supposedly they buried the hatchet a few minutes later so I think it was just one of those heat of the moment things.

Tony said FYMF now he’s hopped on his motorcycle and heading to pick me up so we can cruise Arkansas highways.

It’s nothing that doesn’t happen anywhere between programs that are competitive on the recruiting trail. I don’t want to say anything more than that about it but there’s intensity that’s healthy in this league.”

Even if that is legit, amazing time for Vitello to bring that up, right after you take an L

He wouldn’t be the one bringing it up, considering he plays for the Vols.

Vol fans mad at Arkansas for making jokes about taking Vitello and the awful facilities. You need to be watching your corn holes, because LSU is calling after the season.
