What do you expect out of Alabama this year?

I have to say, this is the most unpredictable Alabama team we've seen since probably 2007 when Nick Saban arrived at Alabama. I think Alabama fans would agree. That's not to say they'll be bad, and it's not to say they'll go undefeated. I have no idea how good they'll be, but I do know they'll be talented at most every position.
Nobody seems to know who the QB is with this seemingly 3 way race, the WR room is talented yet very unproven, the OC is brand new and young, and I'll say it...Nick Saban is another year older. Not to mention, there's a new DC and Kevin Steele has been hit and miss at times. He wasn't good at LSU or Clemson, but was good at Auburn. He was demoted from DC during his first stint at Alabama under Nick Saban.
Nick Saban has been able to avoid a "down" year during his tenure at Alabama, outside of the 3 loss team in 2010. At some point, every legendary coach has dropped off towards or at the end of their career. Alabama is no longer the alpha in the SEC, as that title goes to Georgia. Have I mentioned how much I hate that?
Is this the start of the decline, or will the tide turn in favor of Alabama?

2-3 losses, including a close loss to Texas.

Not sure why this is so confusing ? Milroe is QB1, Simpson QB2 and Bucher QB3
The only question mark on this team is the WR's

I think it’s totally possible they are worse/less talented than last year but more focused coaching + new clock rules mean they only drop 1 game

Agreed. Overall talent & coaching is better this season, but BY & Anderson are not “next man up” replaceable just because of the leadership standard they set in the locker room.

Milroe is not going to start

This is pure speculation, but I expect them to go with a shotgun, RPO based offense with Milroe akin to what the Eagles run with Hurts. The defense will improve under Steele. I'm not making a record prediction because their success or failure will largely hinge on how the offense performs.

He is 100% starting game 1 vs MTSU

I also don't think DC was the problem in Tuscaloosa last year. The defense was hung out the dry a lot of the time. I think Alabama had the highest 3-and-out percentage of Nick Saban's tenure last year.

The QB will be Milroe. If he sucks it up, we'll move to the next guy. Milroe is a freak, I expect him to dominate.

This is probably a good place for Alabama to be. They are still an elite team, but with Georgia’s success and LSU’s rise, they’re being overshadowed a bit. It would not surprise me to see them go undefeated.

Will only be a slight drop off. Anderson's replacement Dallas Turner is projected to be drafted between the 8th and 12th pick in the 1st round

They have as much or more talent than any team in the country. You don't get that many straight years w/ #1 recruiting classes w/o being loaded w/ players. Obviously a lot of it depends on how the new QB's do.

Win up until A&M. Probably win at A&M but it will be close. Shoukd beat Tenner at home. Going to handle LSU.
Bama goes to SECCG with no losses or as a one loss team. Still think UGA is slightly better but Bama shoukd be hungrier.

At least you have your old DC from 2007 back to save your defense.
