That doesn’t really mean they were good. Some teams just get ranked higher based on history. I.E Texas.

Sure, but which SEC West teams does that apply to?

Auburns Kiffin problem is that they are not one of the four or five jobs he would really covet. And while Auburn can argue they might be the eleventh or twelfth best job in cfb, Ole Miss can argue they are a fifteen to sixteen type job. Not enough of a difference to risk missing your in on the ones he truly covets. And it would certainly call st him a shot at at least one of those. No need to go stepping stone to stepping stone here. There’s little value to it.

Auburn blows. Lane would be an idiot to take that roster over his current. Fans cultish. Town sucks. Severe little brother syndrome. Coaches graveyard. Fans are douches. Lake Martin is only impressive to people from Alabama. Foosacklys chicken is terrible. Golden Flake is Zapps redheaded stepchild. Coeds are sub-par. Rolling trees is only cool when you're 12.

Technically LSU can beat Bama this week and then we’d need LSU to lose another game but Bama’s won 10 out of the last 11 in the series so I feel confident that the SEC West will be on the line next week in Oxford.

Api is not a destination job unless you're from Iowa St or Boise St. Its where careers go to die. Everyone gets fired and never coaches again or gets a worse job.

He took OM to its first 10 win season in school history and will probably do it again. That's somewhere they have never been.

Reasonable. Is Kiffin spending more time in Boca Raton really a problem?

au is the worst job in the country if you understand the dysfunctional athletic dept, controlling boosters, unrealistic expectations, and playing Bama/uga every year.

Kiffin always follows prestige & money in the end. It might not be Auburn but Texas, NFL, or another place next year then...

Clicked thread ready to laugh, ended up agreeing with OP.

The only thing is, I don't see a blue blood program coming open this year or next. Unless saban retires or Ryan Day goes to the NFL.

Michigan
USC
Texas
Oklahoma

Are all set for a few years.

No you don't.

Going into the bye week, LSU and Bama control their own destiny. Ole Miss needs to win out and have LSU lose. Thus, you don't control shite.

In other words he will wait and see if Alabama calls in a couple years.

I think Saban dies before he retires.

Kiffin isn’t waiting for shite. He’s a merc. He left UT after one year. Granted they have Serraneaux and a bunch of fat chicks with big hair but the fact remains.

He'll take the Texas job when Texas joins the SEC. The rant will implode. He'll make some big money.
