Pac 12 fans really could probably care less except for maybe Oregon who was the only real title contender.

Big 10 fans were probably pissed especially teams like Ohio St, Michigan and Penn St.
Alvarez at Wisconsin keeps whining about the loss revenue but every team is in the same boat.
Nebraska whined but they haven't been relevant in two decades.

I’ve checked a few of the team sites.

I was on the Michigan site “mgoblog” or something like that and alot of them seemed to be happy it was cancelled with many advocating that all sports should be cancelled until atleast January.

Ohio State board and the Nebraska board I checked were the exact opposite. They were pretty much all pissed.

They'll all be "happy" and trying to mentally justify the decision until the SEC ACC and Big 12 play live games. Then they will rage.

i think we should all trumpet this to as many fans or players in the B10.

they keep saying "start back up in the spring".

January is 'the winter' not 'the spring. shouldn't these northerners know this?

Yep, spring starts in March. If they're starting in the spring, it should be then.

All those northern outdoor stadiums. Imagine sitting in a football stadium in the middle of winter up north.

My brother in-law is in Indianapolis, a melting pot of big 10 fans...he says they're super pissed... wanting it reversed... have a client that's an Iowa fan he isn't happy... they've been playing HS sports since June

What they are not thinking about is their best upperclassmen would opt out. Justin Fields is not going to risk his NFL contract to play meaningless football games in the spring or winter. Players who are solid draft picks will opt out and some that think they can improve the draft stock MIGHT play....might not. Why risk injury?

In college, it's called the spring semester, not a winter semester.

Illinois - postponing is dumb, I barely want to watch a game when it’s 65 and sunny and you want to play in fricking January?

But really, most people say if the players want to play then let them play. If you want to limit capacity then do it but don’t take a year away from the players.

Novemeber games at UK are hit or miss. Usually in the 30s-40s and grey and overcast, some years it can get colder early.

Either way, they suck. We get some snow here and have 4 distinct seasons, yes it gets miserably fricking hot and 100% humidity here in the summer too.

I say all that to say frick a bunch of sitting outside in Columbus in January or February. And it only gets worse and more Northern in that conference.

Also, frick sitting in the Swamp on September. Both extremes blow and Ive gone to enough games now I don't need to sack up and prove my manhood sitting through miserable weather.

Wonder how those shitbirds feel now that with every passing day, numbers are going down, new tools are being produced for the fight, and things are generally looking possible.
