Yeah, when you die while having an orgasm, you're automatically on this list.
He was pushed in front of the train. All of this has wreaked of homicide for decades.

Side note, I got to see the Mentors live and had shots of whiskey with El Duce. He signed my Rape Bible cassette as well. Probably one of my most memorable musical evenings hanging out with a legend who's no longer with us.
People swear up and down that this is Neil Young...

Yes, besides Cetera'a crap.
In their defense, that Grammy category wasn't coined yet, but yes, Disintegration would have killed.

Although not geared toward mainstream listening, Songs of a Lost World is a Cure fan's treat, similar to Disintegration in that regard. I saw them here in New Orleans on their first show of the tour, and then I flew up to Baltimore to see them again.

(Side note: how was this story missed by STigers? ;) )

There are two different Ceteras. The first was one I loved with a very groovy band called Chicago. It was a treat when Chicago came both speakers over the rear seat of my Dad's Buick back in the early 70s.

Then he went solo and put out the sappiest prom music crap ever contrived for a cash grab, and now we are subject to it while grocery shopping. "Next time I fall in love...baby please don't go..." STFU and please go away.

This...or a Chinese cleaver.

I've never owned a garlic press. No need.
Went to the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas for a double billed show. It was The Tubes opening up for Berlin. This was before cell phones and I wasn't wearing a watch, but knew I had enough time for the show before I was to catch a late night flight. The Tubes kicked arse, and just before Berlin came on, I glanced at a watch someone was wearing next to me and panicked and wondered how it had gotten so late, and I had a plane to catch, so I bolted out of the venue, missing Berlin entirely. At some point after I left, I realized that I still had three hours because the watch that I glanced at was presumably still set from a traveler from the East coast. Turns out I had plenty of time. :banghead:

Had a ticket, was at the venue, but never saw Terry Nunn. I love the album Pleasure Victim. Would love to have that show back.

Billy Idol is another one who needs to hang it up.
Just curious. One of my recent acquisitions has been afforded a pet name and didn't know if this was a thing amongst musicians.
Well, yeah, that's what I was thinking the beef's purpose was. I still don't know anyone who intentionally adds beef broth to a seafood dish.

Crawfish Étouffée with...beef broth???

From the Louisiana Crawfish Company

In my decades of living in LA, I've never heard of this but would expect this variation to come from outside Louisiana, perhaps a Rachel Ray recipe or something like that. I've never heard of Cajuns using beef stock instead of shellfish stock (or even chicken). Is this a thing? Anyone heard of this before? Any advantages to taste or texture? Perhaps a beef stock might add a little more body because of the collagen but I'm not seeing any reason not to use shellfish stock.
Katsu in Lafayette used to but I'm not currently seeing it on their menu.

Grade school...buttered corn. I could smell that from any room in the building.

When I was a struggling musician, I spent what seemed to be a fortune on my TASCAM 4 track recorder. I still have it, but it's virtually useless to me with new technology.

Brigitte Bardot dead at 91

What does this have to do with the music board?

The Pretenders referenced her in Message of love...

"When love walks in the room
Everybody stand up
Oh, it's good, good, good
Like Brigitte Bardot"
