1. Kiffin’s success at Ole Miss leading them to a playoff berth.
2. Social media
3. Different era of College Football
4. Ole Piss views LSU as its biggest rival, even though it’s been dominated by LSU lately
5. Timing of exit, even though Ole Piss gave Lane an ultimatum

No, they were equally as upset. It just didn't go quite this viral because there wasn't social media back then. But as someone who's lived in the midst of these pricks all his life, I can confirm that the hatred was just as strong.

They were upset, but it was nothing like this.
They have lost their mind to the point that they have stopped caring about how bad it makes them look.
They are the equivalent of the woman standing in the middle of the street screaming to everyone to hear how much she hates her husband who was leaving her...crying, screaming, begging, passive aggressive demanding, violent threats, etc.

He had an actual reason for leaving. Kiffin just ditched OM. Tuberville didn't like the waving of confederate flags and colonel reb. Apparently hurt recruiting black athletes.

Yes!!!! Fans were screaming at him when the team got off the bus and one
man was so agitated he was yelling threats to the extent I thought he was going to attack. He followed the team ranting and raving but that was it.
I made it a point to join a group of Auburn fans for a little strength in numbers.
